Welcome to the latest edition of the Braemar Seascope Offshore International Vessel Report. The strong oil price has continued to see rig demand maintain its strength over the past few months and the amount of offshore activity shows no sign of slowing down. However, the active newbuild market of previous years is beginning to see a certain degree of oversupply that is anchoring vessel dayrates for all but the most specialised of vessels. The average North Sea dayrates for spot AHTS fixtures in March were GBP 26,513 and GBP 16,120 for large and medium vessels respectively. Meanwhile, PSV rates were GBP 13,235 and GBP 10,088.
