Propellers: Quick Questions to Launch Good Conversations is a collection of 160 questions intended to spark discussions with a young person or a group of young people. These questions can be used in many different settings, including
• classrooms; • youth groups; • one-on-one mentoring or counseling sessions; • family meetings; or • any scenario in which you’d like to get kids talking and thinking.
The cards have been sorted into eight separate categories with 20 questions each. These categories are shown on the outside edge of the cards and color-coded for easy identification:
• Icebreakers • School • Friendships • Family • Money • Community • Values • Thinking about the
Future
Some of the questions are simply intended to strike up an interesting conversation, while others can be utilized for in-depth discussions about what matters to youth and how they can grow up to be healthy, caring, and responsible
citizens several years from now. The cards can be used in any way you like. You can use them in any order, flip to questions at random, or even unclasp the ring and mix them up. Propel your conversations to new heights!
