All ages can help The Food Driving Box is a free tool for families to teach children about the problem of food insecurity and then do something about it. Pick up a free Food Driving Box from Satsuma Kids or a local food bank. Keep your FDB in your car and each time you visit the grocery store add an item or two. You can also sponsor a food drive or distribute Food Driving Boxes to your organization.

Ages 9 and older Northwest Harvest is the only nonprofit food bank distributor operating statewide in Washington with 375 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools. They provide more than 2 million meals every month. Families can help in the Kent warehouse sorting and repackaging bulk food. At the Cherry Street Food Bank, volunteers sort and distribute food and make sandwiches for the sack lunch program.
