YOUR GUIDE TO THE 20 14 –20 15
S E A SON
WELCOME TO BENAROYA HALL BENAROYA HALL, opened in 1998, is Seattle’s most visited arts venue.* Known for its world-renowned acoustics, unique architecture and beautiful art, the Hall is not only the home of the SEATTLE SYMPHONY — it is host to hundreds of public and private events every year, including concerts, lectures, graduation ceremonies and receptions of all kinds. Now in its 17th season, BENAROYA HALL offers the deep variety of artistic and educational programming you see in this brochure, from one-night-only lectures to week-long music celebrations, and everything in–between. In addition to a multitude of local performing arts groups and speakers, Benaroya Hall is pleased to present the third year of Live @ Benaroya Hall. In the 2014–2015 season, this concert series features a host of diverse acts from far and wide, including the fiery flamenco footwork of Casa Patas, the slack-key guitar stylings of Makana, the legendary composer and performer Yanni, and more. More events will be added in the months to come, so please join our email list and find us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest information on concert and pre-sale announcements.
Whether it is a large concert in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium, an intimate wedding in the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall, a quiet moment of reflection at the Garden of Remembrance on Second Avenue or lunch with colleagues in The Boeing Company Gallery, Benaroya Hall has something for everyone. We hope to see you soon! *Downtown Seattle Association’s State of Downtown Economic Profile
