Alan Buribayev, conductor Sol Gabetta, cello Seattle Symphony RIMSKY-KORSAKOV: Suite from The Tale of Tsar Saltan SAINT-SAËNS: Cello Concerto No. 1 MUSSORGSKY: Pictures at an Exhibition Stroll with Mussorgsky through the sonic delights of Pictures at an Exhibition, each scene rendered in vivid strokes by Ravel’s arrangement. The Cello Concerto No. 1 of Saint-Saëns makes its own journey into a bewitching array of orchestral color. Post-concert event with Seattle Symphony musicians to take place directly following the concert. Wine and small bites will be served.
