ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome. My team calls me Uncharted and this is my guidebook. If you have received this book and you are already reading, it means that I, Uncharted, really want you to be part of my “family”. Whether you are a future partner or a future adventurer, I wish you a warm welcome and hope you will follow me throughout the next pages to find out more about me and why I was created.
I, Uncharted, was born in Aarhus, Denmark from a young couple’s idea of creating a new experience for adventurers. Therefore, I was made in order to offer travelers adventures, not just trips, and to help them experience travelling in a new exciting way. Transylvania Uncharted is my first project. The aim is to create the best mix of mountain activities and old traditions.

Each place and activity included in the tours was carefully chosen to provide new experience and an original way to explore and discover the wonders of Transylvania. From the top of the Carpathian Mountains, down through the deep forests, Transylvania’s history settles I the old castles and cities, all full of tales, ready to be shared. But of course, all those beautiful places and activities would not be so interesting to explore without the company of amazing adventurers. That is why our team wants to help groups of 8 to 16 adventurers to open a new chapter in their traveling books. All you need to do is let me, Uncharted, guide you
through a magical place where memories are being formed while footsteps are left behind.
By now, you might have asked yourself, why did the people who created me, chose Transylvania as their first project. To quote Prince Charles of Wales “The key thing I think in Romania, Transylvania in particular, is that there’s so much we can learn from the last corner of Europe where you can see true sustainability and complete resilience and the maintenance of entire ecosystems to the benefit of mankind and also for nature and there is so much we should learn from that before is too late.” And this is not all, let me tell you about the activities that we have prepared for your adventures and the structure of the adventure itself.
