Compass Authentics and Earthwatch Institute are joining forces during the month of July to raise awareness and money to help produce an environmentally sustainable planet. On the 1st of July Compass Authentics and Earthwatch Institute will be organising a 1-day expedition promoting sustainable environments. The expedition will be titled, “Climb for a Cause”. The 1-day event will be held at Mount Warning where people can participate in a climb to the summit. The walk will be lead by volunteered scientists who will inform the participants of environmental sustainability issues around the world. Earthwatch is an organisation that engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. Wildlife and ecosystems worldwide face increasing threats from climate change, habitat loss, and pollution. Earthwatch Institutes research focuses on multifunctional landscapes encompassing forests, agricultural land, rivers, and human development; they aim to maintain a balance between providing services and resources to humans and supporting biodiversity. Earthwatch Institutes also provide expeditions where individuals can join and embark on several day expeditions in places all over the world. On the expedition the participants join respected

scientists in the field where they’ll help find solutions to some of today’s most pressing environmental challenges. At the end of the competition the users will be judged and one user will be announced via Instagram where they can choose a 7 day expedition with Earthwatch Institutes.
