OVERVIEW The goal here is to establish a set of “taste pillars” easily understood by both the consumer and the partners, staff, and contractors along the way. A collection of principles that, if followed correctly, the uni cation of the brand and its assets form an ecosystem where the brand is recognizable outside of traditional logo placement. That is what a perfect brand is. My job is to set the guideline and buffers that guide partners, content creators, et al., in the right direction when ful lling your operational needs. As a lean team, you’ll rely on a Brand Book that is easily syndicated and studied rather than explaining your parameters on the 10th phone call. My brand books are direct and designed to be highly to the point. A set of idiot-proof pages that explains in extreme detail the “how” we do things and, in some cases, the “why” too. It should be a road map that the intern can follow, as can the CEO.

2.Easier Said’s Brand Book. This is sometimes called a Style Guide or Brand Bible. Created usually once every ve years, this 25-50 page book is a comprehensive outline of our aesthetic expectations. It’ll become a key asset for new hires, creative contractors, and global licensing partners.
