SINCERE PRAYER TO GOD IS THE DYNAMIC DIALOGUE! People of Faith, Grace to you!

THEME: SAINTS’ CRITICISM OF OTHERS MAY BE UNRESOLVED IN US! The Call to Worship--------------------Lyceum Council of Elders Hymn of Worship-------------------“To God Be the Glory” #23

Tell me, “When you pray, do you spread out you needs before the Lord to receive His healing love and liberating forgiveness?” When the saints have conversation with the Lord, it enlarges our hearts until we receive His assurance. When the Prophet Hezekiah received a letter with disturbing news, he “went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the Lord.” (II Kings 19:14-15NKJV) God has already given us His grace! Grace is His unmerited, unchanging, unqualified love. We Christians need fresh love each day. He alone is sufficient. “My grace is sufficient for you” He said to His servant apostle the Paul. The word sufficient is Arkei in Greek. It means that the supply is in exact proportion to the need---never too much, never too little, never too early, never too late. Christ Jesus knows our deepest needs. There are times He answers our prayers by not granting our requests.

Biblical Stewardship (Paying Tithes and Giving Offerings)

But also, delay in answering our prayers brings us to the realization that our greatest longing is for the Lord Himself. Any quick provision which makes us less dependent on consistent fellowship with the Provider is no answer at all!

Choir Selection---------------------------Anointed Voices of Praise

Christ Jesus’ strength achieves its purpose in our weakness. Trials and problems give us a grand chance to discover the adequacy of Christ’s strength in our weakness. Therefore, the next time you pray and the answer doesn’t seem to come, wait before the Lord for His direction and be assured that He is for you, not against you. Amen
