Our Standard Collections feature Meranti Mahogany, Knotty Alder, and Acetylated Accoya timber. Each DSA Door is constructed with one wood species throughout, for increased performance, featuring vertically grained panels for a high-end aesthetic.

We construct our doors using a proprietary 11-ply floating panel core and finger joint laminated rails, to increase durability for years to come. Masterartisans expertly assemble, finish and stain our doors by hand in Raleigh, NC.

sustainability focused

DSA exclusively uses sustainably-sourced timber, which is managed in an environmentally, socially and economically beneficial manner. Sustainably sourced timber is one of the most environmentally-friendly materials currently available, because it is a truly renewable natural carbon sink. DSA doors are assembled domestically at our solar-powered production facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Select units feature CLPF construction, which utilizes an energyefficient foam core for the highest thermal performance. Our Wynstellar Doors combine modern designs with acetylated Accoya technology and are specially designed to outlast challenging environments with contemporary modern styling.

Our high-performance Wynstellar Collection has no required overhang or paint color restrictions due to its impressive durability, and features a five-year limited warranty . With our patented CLPF construction, Wynstellar Doors are among the most energyefficient available to date.

The acetylation process can result in a discoloration on the surface of the wood, which fades with UV exposure or is easily covered by opaque paints and darker stains.

DSA Doors aren't just for your exterior entryway. Whether you're designing a formal dining room, grand wine room, impressive home office, or other interior entryway, DSA Doors are the perfect touch. Dutch doors are one of our personal favorites for an interior door. Any door can be ordered for interior use by ordering without a sill, weatherstripping and door sweep. We recommend doors that are 13/4" thick for interior applications.

DP Rating Disclosures

In order to be approved to meet a Design Pressure (DP) rating of 50, each door or window is subjected to extreme testing conditions that simulate hurricane-force winds up to 173 mph. DP testing requires that all variations of door and window units be tested, or engineer approved, by calculations based on previous test data.

At DSA, we emphasize the importance of purchasing products that are legitimately tested and approved to meet DP ratings. Manufacturers may refrain from completing DP testing while still representing their product as safe and reliable.
