Look Book Volume 2 - Street Art - Street Sculpture is a photographic collection by Nicola Hardy. Taken between 2008 and 2011, these photos are not retouched and serve as a reference collection of street art styles, sculptural forms, surprise art, colour and texture. The idea is that art is everywhere and takes on unexpected forms. Garbage or disturbances to traffic become objects with aesthetic value. The locations are mostly European - Spain, Belgium,uk, Estonia, Germany as well as Australia are represented. More publications of photographic collection are coming soon - more books about Street Art, Signage, Foods and Bikes are in the pipeline. Thanks for looking! If you have ever been on the road in Spain, these bulls are a familiar sight. Since the disappearance of the Tio Pepe neon sign in Sol, the Osborne bulls are now joined by the bottle with the hat in a battle for alcohol market share.

Sometimes things take me by surprise, like twin chows, Indian style elephant plaques in side streets, glass objects on a wall and a Muslim in Adidas taking a hatstand for a walk. All these pics were taken in Brussels.
Another surprise - turning a corner and being met with this... also in Brussels.

San Jose is a great place to escape from winter.
Nestled amongst the central city skyscrapers on the edge of St Pauli in Hamburg is Gangeviertel. It’s a squat gone pro and is a haven for creative people. Sound studios, film labs, cafes, comic shop, art galleries and other creative spaces are availble. An on-going battle with the city will hopefully result in the survival of this unique place.
