Securitas Puerto Rico Takes Home Partner Award

In October 2006, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) held its first Suppliers Recognition Day event to acknowledge suppliers, contractors and service providers at its Puerto Rico campus. There are six J&J facilities in Puerto Rico, including Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Home Business Office. Securitas USA has provided security services for J&J in Puerto Rico for more than a decade.

Securitas Team Honored Securitas has been nominated several times for the Capital Construction Facilities Services (CCFS) award. Last year marked the third time it received the award (in addition to receiving it in 2013 and 2014). In 2016, J&J honored Securitas with the CCFS Partner of the Year award for exceeding its expectations.

According to Area Vice President Oscar Gonzalez, Securitas USA has worked closely with J&J in Puerto Rico to improve its operations.

Some of areas where Securitas has made a measurable impact include:

• Preparation of the annual budget for each plant’s security department.

• Implementation of access control systems.

• Support of internal investigation processes for human resources departments.

• Management of system implementation

projects that have resulted in significant cost savings for J&J.

• Improvements in notification and communications processes through

SecuritasVision.

2016 marked the third time Securitas Puerto Rico was honored as Johnson & Johnson’s CCFS Partner of the Year.
