First term: Unit 1: Visual systems and perception Pupil's first work was a composition where they'd created the same figure using silhouette, outline and dintorno.
Pupils were studying the main basic elements of the visual systems and they created a composition using stereotyped elements:
This third work consist in create a composition using different types of textures:
Unit 2: Visual arts language:Shape This work was to use basic components of the visual arts language such as Point, line and plane to check how the visual aspect changed.
Pupils creatted a one line drawing, using first felt tip pen, and then wool.
We studied the shapes relationship and create a cardboard using collage:
Unit 3: Visual arts language: Colour First we studied the wheel circle:
Using a black cardboard the students understood the complementary colours:
And then, we used the complementary colours for our composition:
Second term: Unit 4: Geometry Our first work was a cardboard with two different compositions: using straight and curved lines:
During Christmas holidays, pupils did a brief researching work, they looked for information about Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian, and then they did a composition using their style:
After studying the basic geometric constructions and the polygons methods of drawing, students created a tessellation using a basic grid and a basic unit :
The last work for this unit was to create star polygons; pupils applied the knowledge about drawing polygons and created an inner pattern with a star:
Unit 5: Three dimensional forms Students created flowers using Rotational symmetry:
We're studying the relation between reality and how to create the 3 dimensional sensations in our compositions, for this work students analysed shades, shadow and different techniques to create it:
The last work of the term was to study the shots in cinema:
Third term: Unit 6: How to draw the third dimension Pupils cut, painted and folded a 3D shape template, then they stick it on a paper to show the dihedral tri-rectangle and the different views of dihedral system.

Unit 7. Visual meaning For this work pupils studied the different iconicity degrees: from reality to abstraction.
For this second work we studied objective ans subjective images. We used differents resources for subjective images such as : Changing texture, dimension, colour, point of view‌..
