Welcome to the first Social Enterprise East of England Directory. The directory contains an alphabetical listing of social enterprises and support agencies across the region. All are “making a profit to make a difference.” The directory showcases the talented individuals and organisations from different geographical, political, economic, spiritual or ideological backgrounds that are involved in social enterprise in the East of England. Without their tireless work, we would not be meeting the challenge of change in this part of the UK. I believe this directory is important. It will help the sector grow by bringing together social enterprises that can collaborate, trade and network together. Something that we all are guilty of not doing enough in the pursuit of running our businesses…. Similarly, people in the East of England, and beyond, are looking to buy from businesses with strong social and environmental beliefs. This publication makes this possible.
