Set up Seesaw for summer. Your Seesaw Administrator will complete summer set up steps and share next steps.

Schedule lessons for the same time every week. Click Assign > Schedule > Choose the same date and time each week, e.g. Monday at 7:00am, so families know when to expect new lessons.

Get students and families excited! Consider calling families to build relationships and share the importance of readiness skills. Share this letter to families, this flyer (also in Spanish), and this weekly tracker (also in Spanish).

Support Multilingual Learners. Assign Spanish lessons for MLLs or emerging readers whose families speak Spanish at home. Ask families to confirm which language they prefer. Assign Lessons to specific students by clicking Assign > Edit Students, Folders, Skills.

Get to know next year’s students: When you know your roster for next year, access students’ summer work to get to know them and their families before school begins.
