Fiction Books provide students with a way to engage with digital f experience of the joy of reading. These books can be read aloud whole class, used to annotate, identify sight words, discuss story elements and more! Books on Seesaw unlock endless possibilities of how reading can come to life. Best Practices

Instructional Format: Each books comes with two options to engage with the text. Read: Read allows teachers or students to walk through the book at their own pace. Teachers can ask students to identify high frequency words, letters, character or more, using the learning tools to annotate and interact with the book Listen: The audio version of the book provides students with the opportunity to listen to the book being read to them. This format works well for literacy stations, small groups or independent practice opportunities for pre-readers.

Extra Practice: Students can create a story map to go along with each book. They can identify characters, setting, main events, problem/solution, or sequence of events. Encourage students to showcase their understanding using visuals, labels, texts, and more.
