Best Practices

Complete and assign activities across a week. Students have multiple opportunities to work with each number including hands-on games. Take time to review completed work and support students with misconceptions as needed.

Use paper and pencil. To practice writing numbers, students can use pencil and paper instead of the pen tool in Seesaw, especially if they’re on non-touchscreen devices. Students then use the camera to show their work.

Assign for independent practice, centers or stations, or asynchronous learning. Seesaw lessons adapt to any instructional setting and delivery method. Integrate Seesaw lessons whenever works best for your classroom.
