Power Blocks: ELA addresses power language arts standards through opportunities to practice skills in multidimensional ways! Each lesson provides students with activities that allow them to make meaningful connections to their learning through writing, singing, dancing art, math, and so much more. This allows students to spark connections to what they already know and accelerates learning!
Best Practices Introduce: Our cast of characters star in a video to help review or introduce each concept to your class with the whole class experience "Introduction" activity. This allows the class to build on prior knowledge, ask questions and move forward with a solid understanding of the concept.
Complete over multiple days: Each activity within a Lesson takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Students can work through each activity at their own pace, and you can assign which activities are most relevant for your class, small group, or individual students. Supplement: Use Power Blocks: ELA to supplement core instruction by assigning a Lesson to reinforce a skill you taught, or to meet students where they are. If a student or small group needs to accelerate learning, you can differentiate how you are supporting your class by assigning to students at all different stages.
