What is the Seesaw Math Quest?
The Seesaw Math Quest is a 6-week global challenge where students solve engaging math riddles in under 10 minutes. It encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking while earning badges and tracking progress.
Who can participate?
Any educator worldwide can join! Students will earn badges, track their progress on a map, and celebrate their success However, only legal U S residents are eligible for prizes
Are there any costs associated with joining the Seesaw Math Quest?
Nope. Anyone can participate in the Seesaw Math Quest for free.
When does it start and end?

Where can I find the riddles?
The first riddle will appear in your Seesaw teacher account on Tuesday, March 25. Just sign in to view it! There will be a banner at the bottom of your screen with a compass and button to see the first riddle.
Can I join the challenge after the start date?
Absolutely! You can join the challenge at any time.
What grade level is this appropriate for?
Riddles were created to work well for students PK through 5th grade They are open-ended with multiple correct answers so students within these age ranges will be motivated and excited to solve them.
How to Participate
How do I participate in the Seesaw Math Quest?
Sign in to your Seesaw account as a teacher and locate the banner at the bottom of the page. It has a compass icon Click the button to view your first riddle and present it to your class Your students will figure out multiple solutions using any materials in your room. Students use the green add button to post solutions to their Seesaw journal. Collect badges as a class and encourage students to track their progress by assigning this activity. Share the Guide with your colleagues and hang up the classroom door display outside your room. You can also post the weekly riddle QR code in various places around your school to drive curiosity and excitement!
This is only for teachers and students in the United States right?
No, we encourage any Seesaw educator worldwide to participate. Your students will engage in riddles, create solutions, earn badges, and track their progress on an interactive mountain map. Follow the hashtag #SeesawSolveIt to see how classrooms worldwide answer the same riddle Due to legal restrictions, we are not able to o er prizes to anyone outside of the United States. Each country has its own set of specific regulations for hosting contests and are strictly enforced.
Where do I go to see how other classrooms solved the riddle? Search the hashtag #SeesawSolveIt on Instagram, TikTok, X, or LinkedIn to see posts showing solutions from other classrooms worldwide. They are answering the same riddle! You can check Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or X
I’m in the United States, how do I enter for a chance to win a LEGO Creative Brick Box?
1. Sign in to your Seesaw account as a teacher between March 25 - April 30, 2025.
2. Click the Seesaw Math Quest banner at the bottom of the page.
3. Click the “We solved it!” button after viewing the riddle with your class.
4. Assign the student badge map to your class.
That’s it! You’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win if you are a U.S. resident.
How will winners be notified? LEGO Creative Brick Box Winners: Notified weekly on Thursdays via email. Winners must complete an address request form before May 6, at 11:59 PM PDT to receive their prize You can only win once but entries start over each week so keep participating.

I don’t see the riddle! Where can I find it?
● Make sure you are signed in to your Seesaw teacher account
● The first riddle will appear in Seesaw on Tuesday, March 25.
● You will see a banner at the bottom of the page with an icon that looks like this .
