Hester says honestly, he chose The Breakfast Club for this special movie experience because he felt it would bring back plenty of different memories for those in the audience. He says we all can remember back to watching these five high school students from all different walks of life enduring that one Saturday together in detention. "We chose Breakfast Club. We thought that that would be a good draw for the community and appealed to the most people and then after the movie, Anthony Michael Hall is going to be there and is going to do a Q&A and depending on -- there's different tiers of tick-
City makes way for new housing development in Seguin By Darren Dunn (Seguin) -- The Seguin City Council has officially taken action that helps to clear the way for a new residential development that will eventually bring 400 new homes to the city of Seguin.
Hester says he encourages movie goers to buy The council on Tuesday their tickets as soon as possible. He says only approved two items related about 150 seats will be available. "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity probably for a lot of people to be able to sit in a room with a major actor that is well known and be able to ask questions and be able to get a picture and interact with them. Celebrities are well known but it's always exciting when you can get in the same room or just see a celebrity is exciting and so to be able to actually converse with them and have their attention is kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity," said Hester. Guests will have three ticket options to watch the movie. Level One is $49 and includes one movie ticket plus participation in the Q&A (question and answer session). Level Two is $74 a person and includes the movie ticket, Q&A and an autograph. Level Three is $99 and includes a ticket, Q&A, autograph, a picture and a t-shirt. The showing of The Breakfast Club with special guest Anthony Michael Hall will get underway at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at King Ranger. Tickets can be purchased at the theatre or online at www.hometowncinemas.com.

The bad news is that they were under the New Braunfels 2006 parks code. The good news is they are actually exceeding both codes, ours and theirs in regards to park development. They are supposed to do about 270,000 according to the New Braunfels code and our code is similar with the park development. But this plan is about $500,000 worth of park improvements so we are really excited about that," said Jones.
City Parks Director Jack Jones says the neighborhood did a great job putting together its plans for the neighborhood’s park space.
Jeff Wurzbach, of MP Studios, is part of the development team working on the project, and he helped to design the park space. He told the council that there will be a number "The difference with this of amenities built inside the development as compared neighborhood park. to other developments, it See NEW, page 2
