The Panthers and Apaches combined for a staggering 40 hits on the night - 20 by each team. Navarro trailed the back-andforth affair 12-11 in the middle of the sixth inning before rallying in the bottom of the frame. Haleigh Ortiz picked off the runner at third for the first out. Wegman induced a grounder to Howard at second base that resulted in a game-ending double play. Howard and Stevens each collecxted three hits, three RBIs, and two stolen bases, and Howard scored three times.

Melina Tabares laced an RBI-single to push Pitner's courtesy runner Tatum Harborth home to give the Panthers a two-run cushion. 26 States Now Closing Schools For Coronavirus (Phoenix, AZ) -- Millions of parents are bracing for their kids to be home this week, and possibly the rest of the year. At least 26 states have now taken the rare step of closing schools to try and slow the spread of coronavirus. Arizona is the latest to make the announcement and like most, expects to only extend spring break by a week or two. But the CDC says eight weeks might make the best impact. Several big cities are also closing including the nation's two biggest districts -- New York City and Los Angeles. Colleges all over have shut down as well and switched to online classes.

Johns Hopkins Hospital Creates Its Own Coronavirus Test (Baltimore, MD) -- Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is addressing the need for increased coronavirus testing by creating its own. Drs. They hope to be able to test as many as one-thousand people a day in the coming weeks. It currently takes 24-hours for the test to produce results, but doctors are trying to lower that to three hours.
