THE POWER OF CONNECTION

The Seguin Chamber has a 100-year track record of building leaders, businesses and community by facilitating critical and meaningful connections. When Brett Dillon, CEO of The Dillon Group, moved to Seguin, he integrated quickly by getting involved in the Chamber. Most leaders love to cultivate and mentor other leaders. As a new resident and Chamber member Brett Dillon, CEO of The Dillon Group, quickly found a local niche to share his passion for leadership and training. “I taught a few sessions of the Seguin Area Chamber’s Youth Leadership Academy and helped out with Seguin’s Live2Lead Event,” he shares. One of his key leadership lessons can save people of all ages a good deal of frustration, but it is best learned at a young age. “Many people forget to do a realistic assessment of where they are starting from before they determine where they want to go with their education and career. So that was an important topic we covered in the Youth Academy.” SEGUIN CHAMBER - CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 2021
