It provides flexible and patient financing tools and real estate development expertise to execute revitalization projects within Northern Kentucky’s urban cities of Ludlow, Covington, Newport, Bellevue and Dayton. As a Real Estate Associate for the organization I am responsible for and have accomplished the following: • Assisted in the origination of more than $25,000,000 of investment in the Fund’s Priority Redevelopment Area • Secured $192,000 in predevelopment grant money for urban revitalization projects • Prepared general site feasibility evaluations, real estate market studies, economic impact and fiscal impact analyses of proposed projects and redevelopment areas • Assisted the President/CEO and Manager of Real Estate Finance and Investments with preparation of underwriting packages submitted to Investment Committee and Board of Directors for approval • Effectively managed the Fund’s existing loan portfolio, as well as managed loan draw requests • Supported the President/CEO with grant and technical writing for Duke Energy’s Urban Revitalization Initiative, the Place from Space competition, and the Fund’s Community Development Financial Institution application • Built and maintained a detailed database of developable sites and buildings within the Fund’s Focus Area and maintained the Covington Opportunity Sites Analysis – The Catalytic Fund’s strategic datadriven investment platform for the City of Covington • Performed data mapping and analysis using ESRI’s Arc Geographic Information System (GIS) • Created well-designed graphics and marketing materials that were used to promote Northern Kentucky and The Catalytic Fund in numerous meetings, presentations and publications • Managed the organization’s social media platforms, website and press releases • Assisted the Director of Finance and Operations with duties relating to the financial management of the organization such as funder reporting requirements, payroll and back up accounting duties • Planned and managed The Catalytic Fund’s events such as the Housing and Development Summits, Celebration of Urban Living Series, Groundbreakings, Grand Openings and the Beyond the Curb Urban Living Tour Series


TOLEDO DESIGN CENTER, Toledo, Ohio Cooperative Education Student (April 2012 - September 2012) The Toledo Design Center is a public agency that promotes design and planning excellence in Northwest Ohio. The organization is composed of the region’s leaders in design and planning that offer their expertise to ensure quality and sustainable development practices are utilized. As a Cooperative Education Student at the Toledo Design Center I accomplished the following: • Developed a comprehensive plan for the formation of the Maumee River Trail. This is a 10-mile multipurpose trail that runs parallel to the Maumee River’s coastline and will connect a majority of Toledo’s historic neighborhoods to its urban core and regional assets. A portion of the trail was awarded funding by the City of Toledo in 2013. CITY OF TOLEDO, DIVISION OF ENGINEERING SERVICES, Toledo, Ohio Cooperative Education Student (June 2011 - September 2011) The City of Toledo, Division of Engineering Services is responsible for the planning and maintenance of public utilities and transportation systems. As a Cooperative Education Student at the Division of Engineering Services I was responsible for the following: • Assisted GIS Analysts with preparing and analyzing databases for a citywide data initiative • Analyzed and produced right-of-way maps for real estate valuation and analysis • Assisted landscape architects with creation a site plan for a proposed nautical village in North Toledo’s Point Place neighborhood • Conducted site visits to evaluate roadway and sewer conditions for the planning of the 2013 Capital Improvements allocation SKILLS: • • • • • • • • • •
