Hello!

Autodesk Revit Autodesk AutoCad

As a Bachelor in Architecture, I have interest both in design and the human who experiences the space itself. Like how one person can enjoy the space, and the meaning behind it.

Languages

I'm also an individual that always open to new ideas, even random trivial things. Analyzing about how to improve something to be more interesting, livable, and eventually loved by the people. Being the hard worker I am, I always try to excel in what I'm doing through discussion with other people and self development. Also, as a person, I always try to be positive about things by maintaining a cheerful personality, which helps me reducing stress and gain more perseverance.

01

.the idea

there are tons of product that offers an inspiration finder for architects. But none of them offer in depth of the design like what materials are being used, how to construct, and etc. This is an example of a product that will offer those architects the very needed information about an architectural projects. not just visually pleasing.

searchitecture

one stop application for architect to find inspiration and knowledge on architectural projects

02

.the goals

#1 #2

1-stop information

making a platform where all information from designing to constructing a building are at one place.

more in-depth

not just making an architecture open source that relies on visuals, because we have to be able to built it!

ideate

it kinda hard to find an information about design seen both from visual and technical aspects. It always ends with doing hours of research and website hopping

#2

there’s just not enough information about what materials being used on a design we liked

#3

very often, after hours of research, we still don’t find what we need and ends up using the known techniques for design, which of course hinders development

.competitive benchmark

pinterest

related keyword

the first step of search process was based on your “keyword” then pinterest tried to find other related keyword that might help you further

the downside of this is that, you have to ‘know’ what you are searching first in order to find them. Let’s say you want a design of a specific material you forget/ don’t know it’s name, it might comes as hard to find a design matched with what you need.

visual similarities after you’ve chosen your first liked design, pinterest then proceed to give you other suggestion based on the similarities of the visual. For example from shape, colour, even the angle of how to photo was taken

each project also labeled with related products/ materials that are used, which of course helps with the more in depth information we need

archdaily archdaily are a renowed website for architects known for finding inspirations and projects designed by various architect around the world. From their homepage we can further search projects based on various categories, for example, manufactures and materials. but the downside of this is, we only know the overall information of what materials are being used, but not knowing in exactly which part those materials are used (for example, it says the design uses steel, but not elaborate further which part of the design is using steel, the facade, the floor?)

06

.user user persona

Motivations she likes to explore different design and follow the trends. She also loves to visit beautiful cafes and would love to design one.

Luna Ingram lives in London, England Junior Architect

Frustations when stumbled upon good design, she sometimes has a hardtime findings information about how to built those. Asking those who are superiors to her is out of question because sometimes they also don’t know and don’t have the time to actually teach her.

Needs - information about technical aspects of the design she liked - do not need to change between website to find an information of buildings - know specifically about which materials are used on what elements

empathy mapping

Says - loves interesting and new design - like to follow the design trend

Thinks - hope to get information about how to built liked design instead to just enjoying it’s visual - hope to be able to make real of design she liked

Does - spent hour researching about a design to be able to built them - try to understand and guess technical things because there’s just not enough information for someone with junior level knowledge

Feels - Frustated (when wasting hours of research and hopping between website but still didn’t found needed information) - Sad (when have to resorted to basic design because don’t know the technical aspects of making other design)

.further improvement my research and design have tried to satisfy the 3 problems listed before hand except the techincal parts. As of now, this product just cover the uppermost part of the technical aspects, which is the materials that are being used, but hadn’t been able to provide more in-depth information like what structure is being used, and the construction methods, even providing the construction drawing. to be able to provide those information might become a bit more complicated because the data, especially the construction drawing are a private property of the clients, which if they don’t want to disclose it, then we can’t use it to bring more information to this product the thing we can do instead, is maybe just explaining the overall construction method used in the design, and also by briefly explaining how the methods work so that people, especially those with less experience can picture how the design came to be.

01

.the idea

a meditation app that relies on using soundrelaxing sound to comfort its user. in a world where ‘noise’ is an adamant thing, and wherever you go you will always encounter ‘noises’ wether you enjoy them or not, this is where this product comes in

02

.the goals

soundsation

the idea is to create an application that gives the user meditation through sound. User can choose sound from existing libraries and enjoy specific sound curated that was matched to said activities

#1 #2

flexibility a flexible approach on using the apps while doing other things simultaneously

not-time-consuming as we can use the product while also doing other things, this would make this product less time consuming

user persona

.user

Motivations in between the hustle bustle of life and work, she would like to enjoy a moment of relaxation, but can’t due to the amount of responsbility.

Vittoria Manna lives in Italy Work in Creative Agency

Frustations when trying to find time to relax, she ends up thinking about all the work she had to be doing rather than relaxing, which ends up with her being stressed and drown by anxiety

Needs - a way of relaxation that can be done by doing other things simultaneously - to stay fresh and focus while doing everyday work

empathy mapping

Says - i’m stressed and in need of relaxation - don’t have time to relax because loads of work

Thinks - hope to find a way to relax while doing other things - hope to feel relaxed while also living the fastpaced environment

Does - try to relax one second but then proceed to think about work the very next second

Feels - Frustated (because she can’t rest and also don’t have time to do so) - Burn out (by doing her work non stop)
