It all started decades ago with my first operating company, Selected Hotels Promotion L.C. It has always been been our expressed desire not to surrender to standardisation, and so we focused on smaller independent luxury retreats. By thinking and acting without the constraints of a large chain, we were able to maximise the hotel's potential from planning and design to operating concepts that provide highly personalised guest services and unique experiences.
