Celebrating the Inauguration of The HoteliersGuild International Hall of Fame

With great pleasure, we reminisce about our gathering in October 2016 at the magnificent Palacio Linares in Marbella, Spain, where over 200 leaders from the global luxury hospitality sector came together. It was the birth of the HoteliersGuild International Hall of Fame, dedicated to celebrating excellence in our industry.
Thanks to the generous support of Ricardo Arranz de Miguel and his wonderful spouse Alicia, Marquesa of Villapadierna, who sadly passed away far too early, who graciously provided their Palacio Linares as our exclusive Hall of Fame venue, we have a fitting home for this noble institution.
We cherish our industry and its exceptional leaders, and we now have an elegant space to honor them. The 2016 inductees, including legends like Cesar Ritz, Bill Marriott, Sol Kerzner, Natale Rusconi, Phillipe Starck, and Peter Borer, are immortalised with oil portraits and engraved silver plaques. As we fondly reminisce, we are excitedly preparing for the next inductions later this year, continuing our mission to celebrate brilliance in the luxury hospitality sector. We express our heartfelt thanks to our Board of Governors and industry colleagues for their unwavering support.

Dear Frank, dear HoteliersGuild Board of Governors,
It is with great honor and delight that I accept the prestigious 'Industry Legend' award from the HoteliersGuild International Hall of Fame.
My time in the hospitality industry over 50 years, has been made more remarkable by the huge pool of talented and passionate individuals that I have had the privilege and pleasure of writing with across the globe. It is a unifying industry in so many respects and on in which I am proud to have made a contribution.
