SIRIUS ACADEMYAWARD CAMPAIGN
The recently expanded alliance between www.hoteliersguild.com, https:// www.iu-group.com, www.artsyafrica.com, https://www.preferredhotels, the Study Access Alliance (https://www/study-access-alliance) and generously supported by member hoteliers like Great Plains Conservation is likely to have a significant impact on sustainability and access to education in developing countries around the world as well as other areas of need that can be addressed through this initiative
The Hoteliers Guild is pleased to announce that the enrolment process is underway at this time for twenty African female students to study at the IU-International University of Applied Sciences. So far, a total of forty scholarships have been funded and the aim is to award more than 30 additional grants each year for the next three years, with funding coming from various events, e.g. auctions and the gofundme fundraiser.
This alliance has the potential to revolutionise the way in which hospitality students are educated and equipped with the skills they need for success in their chosen field.
First, this alliance will help increase sustainable practices within hospitality businesses by providing NOW Sustainability Tools and training opportunities for both, member hoteliers and current employees as well as those entering into the industry. Through this collaboration, hoteliers can furthermore gain access to comprehensive educational resources from the partnership with Study Access Alliance, IU International University of Applied Sciences as well as real-world experience from HoteliersGuild's network of hoteliers around the world. By equipping these professionals with up-to-date knowledge about sustainable practices, they can become more effective stewards of our environment while also increasing profitability for their employers through cost savings initiatives like waste reduction strategies or green procurement policies.
Second, this partnership will provide greater access to higher education opportunities for aspiring hospitality professionals who may not otherwise be able to afford traditional college tuition costs due its high price tag. With an emphasis on experiential learning combined with online coursework options, students now have a much more affordable path towards obtaining a degree in Hospitality Management without sacrificing quality instruction. The combination of theoretical knowledge taught at IU International University along with practical know-how gained through working alongside experienced mentors under the umbrella of the HoteliersGuild Intern & Mentorship Program at one of the guild's member properties provides young people unparalleled opportunity when compared against other institutions offering similar programs.
Finally, by creating an innovative approach towards educating future leaders within the hospitality industry, this strategic alliance ensures that graduates are prepared not only technically but also culturally so that they understand how best serve
customers no matter what part of the world they find themselves employed in. Additionally, having international work experience under their belt gives them an edge over others competing for jobs since they already possess first hand understanding about different cultures which many employers value highly when making hiring decisions today.
In conclusion, it’s clear that this new alliance between the HoteliersGuild, IUGroup Artsy Africa, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Study Access Alliance, actively supported by the guild’s generous members, is bound make huge difference in terms of sustainability and providing better educational opportunities individuals who need it most. Although there still much work done ensure success project, we remain hopeful about potential outcomes stemming from collaboration efforts put forth by each organization involved.
