Inspired by the binary star, our award concept represents the sculptural, dynamic and metaphysical nature of brilliance itself.

According to NASA, the Sirius star is slowly moving closer to Earth and will gradually increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years.

Similarly, the HoteliersGuild SIRIUSACADEMYAWARD recipients will continue to bring much light to this world through their relentless dedication and commitment to excellence.

The HoteliersGuild LeadingHôtelières chapter was launched by an esteemed group of female executives who share a commitment to accelerate gender equality in the hospitality industry and elevate more women into leadership roles. The collective expertise of our members is incredibly powerful, and we look forward to creating further momentum on a global scale by using the findings of our first year’s work to create and provide education, mentorship, and training in the areas that will have the most success in moving progress forward. I am proud to join together with fellow industry colleagues in championing this crucial cause and very excited to see what we can achieve in the years ahead.

The SIRIUS ACADEMY AWARD may well be the most distinguished award in the global hospitality industry. The award is issued by the HoteliersGuild Academy of Hospitality Arts.

Created to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry, the SIRIUS ACADEMY AWARD’S mission aims to recognise, promote and support talents from hospitality’s NextGen through scholarships and to pay tribute to Hoteliers and Hôtelières, Chefs, Architects & Designers, for their contribution to a DEEPER and more SUSTAINABLE LUXURY.

The SIRIUS ACADEMY AWARD have evolved from the long established HoteliersGuild, the private society for international hospitality leaders with a pledge to Sustainable Luxury. The not-for-pro t awards campaign is hosted by the HoteliersGuild Academy of Hospitality Arts and curated by its honorary co- founder Lindsey Ueberroth of Preferred Hotels & Resort s, who has donated a signi cant grant to provide scholarships for underprivileged aspiring students at e.g. Ecole hôtelière Lausanne, Institut Paul Bocuse, Lyon and other universities. It is also generously supported by contributions from some of the best HoteliersGuild members and their companies.

At this testing time, the 2022 SIRIUS ACADEMY AWARDS will be solely organized virtually through the web, without the notion of hosting a trivial ceremony, where one is required to spend a large sum on extravagant out ts and an expensive seat at the social event’s table with the pro ts usually going to the organiser.

All sponsors' contributions will be auctioned by a renowned London auctioneer and all the proceeds will go to the Academy's cause.

We celebrate our hospitality industry, sustainable luxury, excellence and innovation in the true spirit of and in accordance with the HoteliersGuild Code of Conduct.
