hat was fast! Renée Zellweger and her new boyfriend, British TV presenter Ant Anstead, have been dating for a mere two months. But a source says that they’re so in love, they’re already considering a quickie marriage. “At a recent dinner party in L.A., they shocked friends when they announced they were engaged,” the source tells OK! “Renée was beaming when she told everyone. She said it took her totally by surprise.” They’re not wasting any time wedding planning either: “Ant and Renée want to get hitched in Las Vegas as soon as possible,” spills the source. “They’re leaning toward eloping, but they could end up having a few loved ones there.” While it may seem like the couple is rushing into things, that’s how 52-year-old Renée rolls. “It’s pretty typical. 42, is the same way. “He’s in awe of her. He’s been telling pals that Renée’s his soulmate and that he’s never met anyone like her before.”
BABY FEVER One of the reasons the couple’s racing to the altar? The source says Renée is finally ready to have a family of her own. “She’s bonded with Ant’s toddler son [Hudson, 22 months, with ex-wife Christina Haack],” the source says. “She’s loving it. But it also made her realize that she really does want a baby of her own.” The Oscar winner, who’s had several high-profile failed relationships in the past, has preferred to concentrate on her career over raising children. But at her age, she knows it’s now or never. “It’s not something she focused on much before,” the source shares. “Renée had the attitude that if it was meant to be, it would happen. But she’s one of the most nurturing people you could ever meet and would

n July 16, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan celebrated their 33rd anniversary, cementing their place among Hollywood’s golden couples. Still, there was a time that they very nearly didn’t survive, after Michael turned to alcohol to cope with his devastating 1991 Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. “He found out soon after their wedding, and he really started drinking a lot,” a source tells OK! “After one final booze binge, Tracy told him to get sober, or they were getting a divorce. He chose sobriety, so in a weird, bittersweet way, their marriage got stronger because of his diagnosis.” Tracy, 61, who met Michael on the set of Family Ties in the early ’80s, has always had a calming influence on her husband, 60. “He was the biggest star in Hollywood back then,” the source says. “He had the sports car and the expensive watches and clothes. But Tracy wasn’t fazed by the glitz and glamour, and paid him no special attention.”

Michael was impressed. “She wowed him with her smarts and her beauty, and the way she told him when he was being a jerk. He knew she was the one,” dishes the source, adding that their love has only grown through the years and their many hardships. A source says Megyn Kelly is being wooed to join The View following Meghan McCain’s decision to leave the chatfest at the end of July. “Megyn’s name immediately came up because execs think she would generate a lot of buzz and boost ratings,” the source says of the former news anchor, whose morning show at NBC was canceled in 2018 in the wake of her controversial on-air comments. “Her conservative opinions are often met with backlash, but producers need someone tough to stand up to liberals like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, which was what Meghan did,” explains the source. Megyn, 50, who was raking in a cool $23 million a year before she was axed from her previous gig, recently announced that she’s launching a new daily gabfest, The Megyn Kelly Show, on SiriusXM radio on Sept. 7. “So it’s not like she needs the extra work,” the source scoffs. “The View bosses hope she’ll be willing to wriggle in room for their show, but it’s going to cost them!”

(The Wild Things star was said to be especially riled up by RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville’s claims that they’d hooked up in 2019, a year after she tied the knot with Aaron Phypers.) Denise also felt

ames O’Shea has always been ahead of the curve. When he opened the West Street Grill in Litchfield, Conn., in May 1990, the restaurant was the first of its kind in the area to feature lighter, healthier fare. “I was doing a lot of seafood and foods from local farms and markets,” says the celebrated chef, who grew up on a seaside farm in his native Ireland. “Modern American cuisine has become a staple,” he adds, “but it wasn’t around back then.” James also adopted a vegan diet in 2008, before it became more mainstream, and says it’s not as difficult as some may think. (West Street Grill — a fave stop for celebs like George Clooney, Russell Crowe and Meryl Streep — has meat on the menu, but deliciously satisfying vegan options like Cauliflower Tempura and pasta dishes abound.) “[Veganism] is less intimidating than it seems,” he notes. Here, James offers a beginner’s guide to going vegan and reveals why he believes it’s the diet of the future. What’s the inspiration behind the menu at West Street Grill? My approach to cooking is based on the food I ate growing up in Ireland. My father had his own farm in Kenmare. Everything was fresh. Tell us about when you decided to go vegan. I went vegetarian as a teenager and, at one point, I was a pescatarian and an occasional vegan. And about 13 years ago, I realized I wanted to look

• 1 cup pistachios, roughly chopped • A good pinch of sea salt flakes For the white layer • 5 1/4 oz white chocolate, chopped or chips • 1/4 cup unsalted butter • 2 tbsp golden syrup or light corn syrup • Scant 1/2 cup dried cherries and berries • 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped

Directions 1. Begin by lining and lightly greasing an 7x10-inch rectangular cake pan or a 8-inch square cake pan. 2. Take the chocolates out of their wrappers and line them up on the base of the tin till you have no more spaces. It’s OK to have some gaps as when you put on the next layer it seeps through to hold it all together. 3. Add the dark chocolate, butter and golden syrup to a microwaveable bowl and heat for 1 minute. Take out and mix till you have a smooth mixture. Leave to cool for 10 minutes. Add the breadsticks to the mixture and mix through until well-coated. Spread out evenly on top of the chocolates. 4. Now, sprinkle the chopped pistachios until the base is covered all over. Use the back of a spoon to pat the
mixture down and sprinkle over the sea salt flakes. Pop in the fridge for 30 minutes to set a little. 5. Make the white layer by putting the white chocolate, butter and golden syrup in a microwaveable bowl and melting in the microwave for 1 minute. Take out and stir till smooth. If it looks like it is starting to separate, add a little hot water one spoonful at a time, mixing after each addition till it comes back together and is smooth and glossy. 6. Add the cherries and berries and chopped apricots and mix well. 7. Take the pan out of the fridge and add the white layer, making sure to spread evenly, then pop back into the fridge to set for at least a few hours. 8. Take out and slice, then refrigerate until ready to eat.
