The Baltic Youth project was a two day creative exploration on the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool 2019, produced by students and alumni from LJMUs Fashion Communication BA, the course partnered with high end menswear store Sevenstore to document the people and visuals of the area in a short amount of time. This Zine is a small collection of those images curated by myself, along with quotes from the alumni who took on a mentor role for the current students. The project was honoured with an exhibition at Sevenstore which also saw the launch of a group zine created by a student graphic team. The visuals selected express not only the atmosphere and textures of the Baltic but the important place Fashion has within the area, that traditionally has strong connections to the music industry. The Baltic Triangle continues to grow and help shape the future of Liverpool’s creative scene.
