Advanced Tooling

The following pages detail the various types and technical drawings of the standard range of press brake tooling available from Selmach Machinery.

Goose neck top tools are particularly useful for double bend ‘U’ shape brackets to avoid the leg from the first bend colliding with the top tool.

Machine Features

• Standard Euro style top & bottom tools

• Hemming tools for producing safe edges

• Joggle tools for small return bends

• Radius tools

• 835mm and 415mm sections

• Segmented top tools with horns for box folding

• Segmented bottom tools

• Bespoke tooling service

• Intermediates and security clamps

The 35 degree tools are designed for over bending requirements as well as for the first stage bending for safe edge tooling.

Segmented tooling allows for return bending and is necessary for box making after the corners have first been notched.

The bull nose tooling is ideal for bending thicker materials as the tonnes per metre rating is very high.

The chart below indicates the tonnage required for various bending operations and includes a quick calculation formula.

Celebrating 150 years of Morgan Rushworth

We were delighted to celebrate 150 years of trading for Morgan Rushworth in 2022. Selmach are proud to be suppliers of the longest established metal fabrication machinery in the UK.

Morgan Rushworth has an enviable heritage

The Morgan Rushworth name has always stood for excellence. 150 years on from the establishment of Rushworth and Co, Morgan Rushworth continues to set new standards in the metal fabrication industry.

From the belt driven section rolling machines of the 1870s to the state-of-the-art fully-programmable fibre laser cutters of today. Morgan Rushworth continues to build on it’s heritage and values. Ensuring our customers’ operations run productively free of concerns over downtime or service issues, day in and day out.

Case Study : Facade and Cladding Solutions Ltd

Facade and Cladding Solutions, based near Stevenage, are suppliers of all manner of Facades, Cladding, Soffits and sheet metal products for buildings. We spoke to Stephen Sawyer, Factory Manager, about their recent installation of a Morgan Rushworth PBS 3100/120 Pressbrake, HSGS 3100/6 Guillotine, HSW 60 Steelworker and an RVD 220/6 Corner Notcher.

“We were looking to expand into a new manufacturing factory, and wanted to replace our existing machinery with new. I bought an Ajan Plasma from Selmach around 7 or 8 years ago in a previous role, and the service had been outstanding, so I made contact with Hugh Bushnell to see how they could help again.

We’ve only been in full production for a couple of weeks, but it’s been such an improvement. On our other, older, machines even the simplest of tasks used to take so much time to do, now it’s much faster for us.

My experience with Selmach has been excellent. They helped guide me through what machine would work best with us, as I was looking at initially a 4m machine, or a bit bigger. But they advised me to go to a 3m machine.

So again it worked out better as it was not only cheaper, but more importantly it works in the factory where we are at the moment, it gave us that little bit more room. The after-care from Selmach has been really good.

Would I recommend you and your machinery? 100%, definitely, everyday. 10 out of 10 from start to finish.”

Guillotines

The guillotine, much like any other machine we design, craft and sell today is as much a product of evolution as innovation. That is a really big idea when you are talking about a company such as Morgan Rushworth, whose story began all the way back in 1872, not too long after the industrial revolution, at a time when Britain lead the way with engineering feats that quite literally turned dreams into reality and made the impossible an everyday occurrence.

Today’s Morgan Rushworth sheet metal guillotines represent some of the finest of their type in the world, driving our industry into the new millennium much like their predecessors drove the booms that followed the industrial revolution and the war effort. Today state of the art hydraulics and cutting edge CNC systems have replaced what came before, but our ethos is exactly the same.

Guillotine tips: Getting rid of shearing defects

Whatever guillotine you choose for yourself or your business, and whatever tasks you need it to perform, they all have one thing in common; they need to be well maintained and used with care, if not then shearing defects can and very often will start to creep into your work.

The term ‘shearing defects’ is really an umbrella term for a variety of undesirable effects you might encounter during the shearing processes that you and your guillotine undertake; they can include a poor edge quality, bowing, twisting and crooking (errors in general straightness of a work piece.)

The good news is that all of these defects are avoidable, and here are some of the best tips, and questions to ask yourself in order to avoid shearing defects while using your guillotine.

Are the blades sharp?

Cuts need to be neat and they need to be regular, if they aren’t then poor edge quality is an inevitable consequence. With that in mind, checking the blade wear regularly will tell you when the blades aren’t as sharp as they used to be.

Chips in the blade

Spotted ideally by a careful inspection or worse; defects in work pieces. Blades can become damaged over time by poor maintenance or just normal wear and tear; good housekeeping is always the best option!

Don’t use cheap or poor quality steel!

An often overlooked issue can be the quality of the materials you work with. It’s important to remember that those which might seem cheapest can often become the ones you end up paying the most for…

Oil your blades when cutting aluminium

This tip is more about wisdom and experience as opposed to common sense, if you are shearing aluminium then lubrication is best practice and a very good policy. It is also a great idea to make sure the oil hold-down jacks are not leaking once in a while too. Your blades will thank you, and your end products will be defect-free.

There are one or two other things you can do to make sure shearing defects do not rear their ugly head in your workshop; making sure your backgauge is parallel and datumed, and ensuring the guillotine’s squaring arm is set square are both vital.

Case Study - MR Industrial Services

MR Industrial Services, based in Corby, Northamptonshire supplies a wide range of architectural and industrial steelwork. We spoke to Carl Peters, Martyn Nimmo and William Adams to discuss their experiences of working with Selmach Machinery over the years.

MR Industrial Services have a wide range of equipment from Selmach, including Bianco Bandsaws, RVD Tube Notchers, an Ajan CNC Plasma Cutter, Morgan Rushworth PBS Press Brake and HSGS Guillotine.

“The machinery brought into the business from Selmach has been fantastic, you can tell by the amount of equipment that we’ve got on the premises that it’s what we need, and it helps us to supply our customers what they need.

If we hadn’t got the machinery that Selmach had provided us, we’d have to outsource everything, and as soon as you do that you lose control straight away, and you’re paying a premium rate for something you could do yourself. As soon as I put something out of the door it’s going to cost me 20% straight away. Having it in house it just works, and works every time.

Selmach’s after-care and service is top of the board. We’ve had a very reactive service, we actually had a transition from our headquarters to a second unit. They came in decommissioned and recommissioned at the drop of a hat really, as it was a really quick decision that we made.”

“I would strongly recommend to anybody out there who is after machinery to speak to Selmach, 100%.”

Rather than the traditional exchange tables of a 2 table laser, the moving cabin system of the XSM means there is just one large table, and the cutting cabin travels over the length of the bed. This means you can fit a relatively large laser into a much smaller footprint compared to an equivalent machine with an exchange table system. The system can be increased in length by increments of 1m compartments.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The cabin utilises a dual linear rail system for both the cabin and the bridge gantry of the laser cutter, further minimising the footprint of the overall machine.

Cabin Parking Area

Rather than the space of a 2nd table, there is instead a cabin parking area the width of the table and 4m deep. This is where the cabin will “rest” between jobs, allowing full forklift or crane access to the cutting table for loading fresh sheets and unloading all of the cut-parts and skeleton.

Automatic Loading & Stacking Systems

The Morgan Rushworth Compact Tower System and Full Height Stacker systems allows you to get the maximum throughput from your Fibre Laser cutting machine. This tower stacker enables you to run machines at faster speeds, with continual loading and unloading of sheet material and cut parts, reducing the amount of time between cuts, and maximising the use of the operator’s time.

The Morgan Rushworth Compact Tower System is easily integrated into your production. Handle mirror-finish sheets with ease, as the efficient compact tower system can load and unload sheets with minimal tooling marks, grease or scratches.

The full size tower is able to store raw material, load sheets for cutting, unload cut parts and automatically cycle through those steps. It’s easy to set-up and quickly installed, with a minimal footprint, enabling fully automatic production.

With a correctly configured system, the Fibre Laser can be left running overnight or on weekends to maximise productivity with lights out manufacturing. These tower systems are compatible with the Morgan Rushworth XR and XS models of Fibre Laser cutting machines.

Case Study : HMS Engineering LTD

“We’ve purchased various machines from Selmach, we’ve bought an Ajan profiler, which is brilliant. If anybody’s looking for a dual head profiler, I don’t think you’ll better it. We’ve bought a Morgan Rushworth XR 4kw Fibre Laser cutter, which is the latest toy in the box. It’s just made life so much simpler, because if we want it, it’s there in the corner of the building. A 200 tonne, 4m Morgan Rushworth Press Brake and a 125 Tonne Morgan Rushworth Steelworker.

Our new investment in machinery has given us an increase in production, as it’s increased our in-house capacity. Rather than having to go out and be waiting for someone else’s time-line, we’re creating our own time-line ourselves. That’s very important, we now have control over aspects where before we had no control, it’s a great way forward.

We considered new machinery at the start of Covid lockdowns, we had to establish what we were going to do as a company because we had no idea how long Covid was going to go on and what was the best means forward for the company was, and that was to grow. Or try and grow during the pandemic, which we did. There are elements of the business now that have grown vastly.

My experience with Selmach right through from quote to sale has been I mean quite pleasurable in all fairness, a very approachable company. Every time we’ve had an issue, which has usually been the fact that we’re learning, bang, someone’s there, perfect. The company Selmach is greatly supported by its installation crew who are very knowledgeable. When they’re giving you the guided tour of the machine, you just know they know everything about it.

Would I recommend Selmach and their machinery to somebody else? The answer is yes, and I already have.”

“The whole Selmach experience, I must say, has been very pleasurable, very professional. And we have gained some fantastic kit and a great working relationship.”

Case Study : Ridgesteel Ltd and The Black Country Engineering Group

Ridgesteel, based on the outskirts of Bromsgrove, are specialists in the production of structural steel, as well as architectural metalwork, mezzanine flooring, stairs and balustrades, and much more.

We spoke to Ryan Ridgewell, General Manager of Ridgesteel and the Black Country Engineering Group about the High Definition Ajan 260amp CNC Plasma Cutting Machine and Sterling 360 DGSAE Bandsaw that the company bought from Selmach.

“We were looking for long-term cost savings, bringing our profiling and material preparation in house, to allow us to control the process, and speed up time-scales too. Without needing to rely on 3rd parties, it means we’d gain full control of our supply line.

We heard about Selmach from our friend Harry, at A13 Engineering - He’d recently purchased an Ajan Plasma from Selmach, and had told us about the brilliant service and after care that they deliver.

The saw allows us to take full lengths of steel from the stockholders and process it our self, rather than waiting on them to cut material to length, and the delays that incurs for us. Then the Ajan allows us to maximise our production and saves us a lot on long term costs without needing to outsource profiling.

The after-care from Selmach has been really good. I haven’t got a bad thing to say about the after-care, anything we need we can WhatsApp the engineers, and you get a response within the house. Solutions, anything we need, repairs, they’re straight out.”

PRESSURE INTENSIFIERS

CMS brought about a new concept in ultra-high pressure intensifiers, enhanced by technological solutions designed to satisfy the needs of most demanding users. This new technology is based on an intensifier equipped with several pressure multipliers independent, parallel and electronically synchronized. This innovative solution results in an ever-constant pressure avoiding any drops typical of traditional oppose-cylinder intensifiers.

ELECTRIC PRESSURE INTENSIFIER - E-PUMP

Technojet E-Pump is the latest innovation in the range of CMS Metal Technology intensifiers created as a continuation of the quest by CMS for efficiency, performance, energy consumption and low environmental impact in the world of pressure intensifiers for waterjet cutting applications. This new project was carried out entirely in the CMS engineering department and has given rise to an innovative product that combines the power density of a hydraulic pump with the energy efficiency of a direct-drive mechanical architecture.

The simplicity of the system translates into a significant reduction in components: up to 95% compared to a conventional hydraulic intensifier. Tecnocut e-pump exploits an electrohydrostatic unit connected directly to long-stroke pressure multiplier cylinders, achieving an operating efficiency of more than 31% compared to hydraulic intensifiers.

The intensifier has an on-board intelligence with portable tablet (Wi-Fi) and touch display for monitoring and controlling operating parameters and performing diagnostics on hydraulic and high-pressure components. Tecnocut e-pump can be installed on any cutting table, even third-party ones.

MG Hydraulic Plate Bending Rolls - Controllers

The advanced MG Nexus NC and Touch Command EVO CNC controls are designed to apply an advanced new level of automation to the sheet and plate rolling process. Significant time and labour cost reductions can be achieved in production environments by developing programs which can recalled and run by operators without specific knowledge of plate bending, rather than relying on skilled labour to continuously operate the machinery.

Nexus NC Control

The Nexus NC is a powerful unit controlling the position of the two pre-bending rolls, the feeding of the material and the pinch pressure as standard. It can also control optional equipment such as side supports and overhead supports, and can interface with powered in-feed roller track if required. It works on a teach-in and play back method, with the operator first creating a part manually, during which the program memorises all the machine operations required to produce the finished component. Programs can then be manually edited to remove any superfluous steps before being finally saved in the program memory to be recalled for production use.

Machine Features

• Industrial touch screen NC control

• Simple teach-in and play back operation

• Manual editing for optimisation of program prior to production

• Stores 300 programs each with up to 99 steps

• Controls pre-bending roll positions, material feeding and pinch pressure

• Has functionality to control optional side supports and central overhead support

• Can be interfaced to PLC control to work with powered in-feed roller track

Touch Command ECO CNC Control

The Touch Command EVO CNC is a result of continuous research and development by MG’s in-house team, building on their vast experience of numerically controlled bending rolls. Due to the difficulty of allowing for differences in material yield strengths, the control has been developed with the ability to input the results of test bends performed on the actual material. Once the results have been factored in, the material can be stored in the material library ready to be recalled and used with standard or imported shapes from the shape library. Shapes can then be dimensioned to requirements before the CNC automatically creates the program from the details entered.

Machine Features

Case Study : 6IX Process Design Ltd

6IX Process Design Ltd, based in Somerset, are manufactures of stainless steel tanks, vessels and processing systems for the brewing and dairy industries. We spoke to Sam Cabell, Managing Director about their recent machinery acquisitions, including a set of Morgan Rushworth DPBH-4 2550/280 Plate Rolls, a Bianco 420 MS Bandsaw, a Meyer SR32 Pillar Drill and an Almi AL100 Tube Notcher (Linisher), upgrading old, tired and 2nd hand machinery for a set of new.

“Selmach came recommended to me by another company that I used to worked with, they put me in touch with Hugh, and we’ve been speaking for the last 3 or 4 years, but obviously this year we’ve had a major investment into the business, which is why we’ve uprated a lot of our machinery.

Now we’ve got more investment, more backing, its freed up more money which meant we could invest in decent equipment to see us through to the next 5 or 10 years.

So from Selmach this year we’ve bought a brand new set of Morgan Rushworth Sheet Rolls, 2.5m wide to roll up to 10mm stainless steel. Also, a Bianco Bandsaw, a Meyer Pillar Drill and an Almi Linisher (Tube Notcher).

So before this machinery, the machine we had before was a Morgan Rushworth (DPBH-4) set of rolls, but it didn’t have any of the hydraulic support or guidance, so we’ve turned rolling from a four man operation into a one man operation.

Would I recommend Selmach and your machines. Yes I would recommend your machinery, and yes I have, already!”

Bandsaw & Circular Saw Technology Explained

Here at Selmach we offer a wide range of sawing machinery, to suit a wide range of applications, industries and requirements. Depending on your budget, the size of material you need to cut, and the type of cut you seek, we have a machine to suit.

Horizontal Bandsaws

The bulk of our saw range are horizontal bandsaws, from the budget Sterling Swift models for small fabricators and welders, all the way up to the Bianco and Sterling CNC models, capable of advanced repeat cutting and processing. We further split our horizontal bandsaws down depending on their levels of automation;

Manual

Our range of manual saws are ideal for your initial start-up workshops. With pull-down action, or gravity down feed, these saws will offer accurate cutting time and time again.

Semi-Automatic

As well as gravity down feed, the semi-automatic models feature bow-return as standard, meaning you can set-up your cut and let the saw do the work while you work on other tasks.

Automatic

“Set and forget” automatic saws allow you choose a desired length, and the number of cuts you want and leave the saw running. Again, available as pivot action or twin column to suit the materials to be cut.

Vertical Bandsaws

CNC

Our range of CNC pivot action or twin-column saws allow for truly automated cutting. Pre-configured programs with varying lengths and angles can be fed in to the saw, allowing the entire length of material is processed by the saw without any further operator input required. Optional loading systems and powered roller track can make minimal work of heavy-duty material processing.

More commonly seem in woodworking environments, for precision profile cutting, or curved cutting, a vertical bandsaw provides functionality that cannot be achieved with a horizontal bandsaw or a circular saw.

Circular Saws

The trusted circular saw is still the machine of choice for a variety of industries. Offering quick and efficient cutting for small diameter tube, box and flats. Available as a standard manual pull-down or semi-automatic model.

Bianco have been manufacturing bandsaws in Italy for over thirty years and have built a reputation for producing precise, reliable, and accurate machines. All machines have modern cast bows from special alloys to ensure one of the highest precision bandsaw ranges available. BIANCO

Advantages & Benefits

XR 1500W Laser Welder

LightWELD™ enables dramatically faster welding and is easier to learn and operate than MIG or TIG. LightWELD™ provides higher-quality, consistent results with minimal distortion or part deformation.

TIG welding can generate extreme heat that deforms thin materials and produces poor visual finishes. Welding copper is difficult and welding metals of dissimilar thickness’s is limited. TIG welding is a highly skilled process, and experienced TIG welders are a scarce resource.

MIG welding requires consumable wire, material pre-cleaning, and bevelled joints for full penetration of thick metals. Travel and working angles are limited, and vertical positions can be extremely challenging. MIG is a high-heat process that can cause part deformation.

LightWELD systems are easier to learn and operate and are 4X faster than TIG welding. The low heat input and extensive material and thickness capabilities increase productivity, repeatability, and improve weld quality for operators of all skill levels.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

LightWELD XR extends the range of materials and thicknesses of previous models, enabling fabricators to benefit from a wide range of solutions. Pre-weld and post-weld cleaning functionality optimises weld quality and productivity.

For welding, LightWELD XR enables welding across a wide range of materials and thicknesses, including Aluminium, Mild, Stainless and Galvanised Steel, as well as Copper, Nickel and Titanium alloys!

The standard LightWELD XR utilises a smaller spot size for increased capacities, whereas the LightWELD XR 2000 utilises a higher power laser source (2000W). The XR 2000 is currently going through UKCA and CE certification, and is expected to be available in the UK in Q4 2024.

With the introduction of Laser Welding, this has led to the need for dedicated safety enclosures in order to provide a safe working environment for both the laser welding operator and other staff members working nearby.

Laser Welding Safety Enclosure

Safety is of the upmost importance with laser welding, the class 4 lasers could blind someone if they’re not wearing suitable PPE, and that’s why the laser welding machines that we supply need to be used in a safety interlock enabled enclosure. This insures that no-one can interact with the laser without appropriate PPE. Our range of modular safety enclosures can be built to suit your exacting requirements. Whether you need to fit the enclosure into a specific location within the workshop, or to accommodate certain size workpieces.

Depending on your situation, a roof is also available for the enclosure, this is required should there be a 2nd story, or mezzanine floor that could allow someone to see into

the booth during operation. A standard configuration of a 3m x 3m enclosure includes a single hinged door and a vision panel featuring laser safe glass to allow other staff to look in. There is a safety interlock system which attaches to our LightWELD Laser Welding systems.

The optional roof system includes a lighting set-up as well. The modular design means you can build a system to suit your needs.

The automatic start/stop function was engineered to preserve energy and synchronise the units with the Translas Extractor guns. The moment the gun is out of the gun holder, the machine automatically starts working.

There are two start/stop options: the clamp, which works on induction, and the gun holder. For both options, after stopping welding or putting the gun back into the holder, the machine stops working after about 20 seconds.

About Welding Fumes:

ABOUT TRANSLAS

Translas is a Dutch manufacturer of welding guns since 1960. A company founded by welders, for welders with a passion for innovation and new technologies, continually strives to engineer innovative products that boast a distinctive design, quality, and functionality.

Welder’s safety is of paramount importance to Translas. The company’s goal is to globally reduce welders’ exposure to hazardous fumes and provide a healthier and safer work environment. Some of the pioneering products include extractor guns with a built-in module to safely extract welding fumes at the source and portable extraction units for high-performance extraction.

Welding fumes contain vapours, a mixture of airborne gas by-products and fine particles. The composition of the mixture depends on the welding method and the products that are welded. The vapours and gases released during welding can lead to serious health problems. Short-term exposure can result in nausea, dizziness, or eye, nose, and throat irritation.

Prolonged exposure is like inhaling ultra-fine metal dust which can lead to cancer of the lungs, damage to the brain, and kidney damage. Certain gases, such as helium, carbon dioxide, and argon, displace oxygen and argon specifically poses suffocation risks, particularly in enclosed work areas. For this reason, Translas, a Dutch welding torch manufacturer, developed fume welding torches – 8XE MIG, 8XC Cobot, 10XR Robotic and 8TE TIG Extractors that extract the welding fumes directly at the source up to 98%.

8XC COBOT MIG Extractor

10XR ROBOTIC MIG Extractor

8XC Cobot MIG Extractor

The 8XC Cobot MIG Extractor integrates one of the most efficient fume extraction structures in the welding industry. The torch comes with four different angles 22°, 35°, 45° and straight.

The 8XC Cobot MIG Extractor, combined with the ClearO2 W-series 150 and 200, captures up to 98% of welding fumes directly at the source.

The 8XC Cobot MIG Extractor provides one of the safest and most effective solutions for welders and workers to breathe CLEAN AIR and better work environments and works with the UR5e, UR10e & UR16e Universal Robot’s.

10XR Robotic MIG Extractor

With the 10XR Robotic MIG Extraction Gun, harmful welding fumes can be safely and effectively extracted right at the source directly through the gun.

When the 10XR Robotic Welding Fumes Extractor is used with the ClearO2 W-Series 100 and 200, it allows for up to 98% of welding fume removal, which forms during the welding process. The fumes are extracted directly from the point of origin, through the nozzle before entering the atmosphere.

In addition to cleaner air, your employees will be able to work in a more pleasant environment.

By using the 10XR Robotic Welding Fumes Extractor, you have significantly less investment in alternative extraction options as it eliminates the requirement of a hood, curtain and larger powerful extraction systems being installed.

DUTCH WELDING TECHNOLOGY

8TE TIG Extractor

Our TIG Extractors protect the welders and other workers in the factory from harmful fumes and metals like Aluminium, Chromium, Iron, Manganese and Nickel which are possibly released during the welding process.

Same convenient handle as a regular 8XT Torch

The 8TE TIG Extractor handle has a unique ergonomic shape designed to suit the shape of the welder’s hand, fitting perfectly between the thumb and index fingers. The grip is made out of a durable but soft 2K TPE rubber. Both the ergonomic shape and the grip material contribute to the excellent stability of the torch during the welding process.

The ClearO2 T100 / T200 portable extraction units offered by Translas were specially engineered to work with the 8TE Extractor to deliver the best results - up to 95% extraction of welding fumes directly at the source.

Cutting Recommendations for Solid Material

Cutting Recommendations for Tubes and Profiles

The GoldCut™ bi-alfa cobalt 424 bandsaw blade has HSS-M42 tooth tips. The High wear resistance of the saw blade results from the very hard and evenly distributed carbides in the tooth tips, formed during the hardening and tempering process.

The martensitic structure of the tooth tips and high cobalt content create excellent hot hardness and toughness reducing wear rates at high sawing speeds. With a high chromium backing strip, the saw blade can withstand the considerable flexing stresses, tension and blade guide pressure present in modern sawing machines.

This universal blade is suitable for material with a high carbon content (such as case iron), for material with small cross sections and for thin-wall profiles and tubes.

The GoldCut™ Beam-Master bi-alfa cobalt WS bandsaw blade is produced with a HSS M42 cutting edge. The saw blade benefits from wider set to create a larger kerf. The larger cutting channel helps to prevent blade binding. The blade is suitable for all large H beam section cutting.

This tooth form is particularly well suited for solid, thick-walled tubes and all large H beam cutting applications, and all highergrade alloy material.

Work pieces:
Tooth top view :

The all new GoldCut™ Boxer blade is an excellent choice for all small profile cutting applications with its low vibration in cut. Vibrations during cutting of tubes, beams and profiles reduce the blade life. For this kind of application GoldCut™ offers the perfect blade solution.

The reinforced tooth increases the strength to withstand vibrations during interrupted cutting and protects the bandsaw blade against losing teeth in a row. The tooth tip consists of proven HSS-M42, which has good mechanical features. The Boxer is the bandsaw blade having best results in cutting round and square tubes as well as beams.

GoldCu t B Boxer Pro

The GoldCut BoxerPro™ is an innovative blade designed for versatility and optimum cutting performance in solids and profiles. It features an aggressive yet stable cutting edge with a chip former and a cutting depth limiter which protects the blade against premature tooth breakage. This results in a faster cut speed, longer blade life, less down time (changing blades) and lower production costs!

An integrated chip former ensures optimum chip removal, and a cutting depth limiter protects against tooth breakages. The oversized gullet increases chip space volume, ideal for cutting solid materials.
