Erick and Lisa Weness purchased the farm from his parents, Mark and Cheryl, in 2015. Their twin daughters Ava and Layna are the fifth generation to live on the farm. Erick’s great-grandpa, also named Erick Weness, purchased the farm in 1897. His family originally immigrated from Norway in the 1870’s and worked for farmers. Erick and Lisa farm the original 120 acres, plus rented acres. They also feed out 250 head of fat cattle and have 40 stock cows.
