So far, Lsjbot has been able to create three million articles across a variety of versions of Wikipedia and racked up over ten million individual edits. Johansson says that the main task is to create articles about different species of animals and plants, and most of his edits are related to that task only. There were times when Wikipedia had just a few bots, but Johansson claims that they are increasingly important nowadays and should be part of the machinery of Google and Wikipedia.

However, there are limits to what we can do with the bots. Bots are important because they help maintain a lot of work and create various articles on Wikipedia. Its English version has millions of published articles, and bots are used to repair vandalism to a great extent. Do robots write NASA's history?

One of the major hazards of this approach is the articles ending up with NASA's history. A lot of people believe that bots have created those articles and a lot of automatic programs were involved in their publishing.

In 2008, an algorithm was known as ClueBot II successfully wrote fteen thousand Wikipedia articles on asteroids. It simply rewrote the public data and converted information from NASA's database to Wikipedia articles. These articles were edited by the bots, which changed their tags and linked them to each other for backlinks. These bots even changed the English versions of Wikipedia articles into Chinese versions. In 2012, this creation was undone, and human beings did all the work.

He says that a comprehensive policy governs the use of robots or bots on Wikipedia. Most of the bots go through the tough approval procedure where the determinations are made by humans whether the tasks they perform are meaningful or not. Moller also concedes that the structured data of Wikipedia and its projects are maintained in a variety of ways, which helps keep things updated and reduces the potentials for human errors in manually updating and importing the numbers.

Wikipedia is one of the websites that have a lot of articles. Johansson has defended the practice of creating millions of articles alone, saying that he made the wise use of robots and bots and got them approved by the senior authorities before using them on Wikipedia.
