Officials from Seneca Gaming Corporation and the National Buffalo Wing festival announced today that Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino has once again signed on as one of the co-sponsors for the National Buffalo Wing Festival, scheduled for September 5 and 6 at Coca-Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. Now in its 14th year, the festival has grown into a signature tourism event for the region and a staple on the calendars of food enthusiasts from around the globe. This year, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is returning to the National Buffalo Wing Festival with a title to defend. In 2014, the casino represented Duff’s Famous Wings, which are served at the Buffalo Savors Grill inside Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, in the festival’s Restaurant Sauce Off competition, and swept all three first place awards for traditional/medium, hot and extra hot wing sauces, defeating more than two dozen local and national restaurants in the competition. This year’s competition will feature a “craft wings” theme, and members of the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino culinary team will once again be working with a Duff’s chef on a special signature sauce creation. As part of its sponsorship, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, along with Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, will serve as an exclusive location for pre-sale festival tickets. Pre-sale tickets are available now. Guests may purchase pre-sale tickets with cash or credit card for just $5, or for $8 using Seneca Player’s Club comp points. Tickets are available 24 hours a day at BC Café inside Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino and at The NewsStand inside Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. In addition to co-sponsoring the festival and serving as an exclusive pre-sale ticket outlet, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will be the title sponsor for the U.S. Professional Wing Eating Championship, held during the event weekend.
