JINGLE FALLS ILLUMINATES FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON! Collaborative Community Event Featuring Tree Lighting/Illumination of Jingle Falls, Broadway’s Michael Cavanaugh Performing, & Candlelight Stroll NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK: (November 28, 2017) Please join the City of Niagara Falls, Old Falls Street, The Conference & Event Center, Destination Niagara Falls USA, and Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino as well as the neighboring community and businesses as they set to light up for the holiday season in sequence for the inaugural event Jingle Falls USA. Jingle Falls USA is a new collaborative holiday celebration taking place on three Saturdays – December 2nd, 9th and 16th. The whole community is invited to attend the Jingle Falls-Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony set to take place at Seneca Square (in front of Seneca Niagara), 310 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY this Saturday, December 2nd between 5:30pm-6:30pm. The ceremony will feature a 35 foot Blue Spruce and a performance by Michael Cavanaugh of Broadway’s “Movin’ Out” keeping the holiday spirit going as attendees enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cookies! This community event is free and open to the public so please join us! The City of Niagara Falls is hosting it’s first-ever Candlelight Stroll that evening, an event that is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to assemble at Niagara Falls City Hall (745 Main St.), at 4:30 p.m., where candles will be distributed. The group will start the stroll promptly at 5 p.m. and follow a route down Main Street to Third Street, where they will enjoy caroling by Niagara Falls City School District students. The group
will lead to Seneca Square (in front of the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino) for the official Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony. The tree lighting ceremony will feature live music by national recording artist Michael Cavanaugh, (Broadway’s “Movin’ Out”) who is performing the songs of Billy Joel that evening inside the Bear’s Den, and mark the official illumination of trees down Old Falls Street and Third Street, followed by a fireworks display. After the fireworks, guests are encouraged to enjoy the outdoor movie, “Elf,” on Old Falls Street, the Holiday Marketplace inside The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls, the Gingerbread Wonderland activities inside the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, and multiple dining options throughout the Downtown Niagara Falls area. With multiple activities happening each day, Jingle Falls USA has planned something for guests of all ages. There is a host of activities for patrons to enjoy around the surrounding area each of the three Saturdays of Jingle Falls (December 2, December 9, and December 16).
