SENECA BUFFALO CREEK CASINO EXPANSION NEARING COMPLETION; NEW RESTAURANT, NEW GAMING AREAS READY FOR GUESTS TO ENJOY Additional gaming, dining, and retail to be completed in coming weeks BUFFALO, NEW YORK: (March 9, 2017) After months of building excitement and anticipation, the expanded Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is nearing completion, and guests can now enjoy their first taste of the $40 million project. Officials from Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, Seneca Gaming Corporation and the Seneca Nation provided a preview tour of the expansion to members of the media today, which included new gaming areas on the main floor, and a long-awaited new restaurant on the expansion’s second floor. “The energy and excitement at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino keeps building,” said Joanne Israel, General Manager. “We’re excited for our guests to enjoy this initial rush of what their new Seneca Buffalo Creek experience will be like.” While the ongoing $40 million project is a seamless expansion of the main gaming floor, guests will notice a few differences right away. Entering through the expansion’s doorway, guests are greeted by a dynamic video wall display, which features many of the cultural and traditional stories of the Seneca people. Also located in the new entry lobby is an enclosed non-smoking gaming area, including more than 140 slot machines. Meanwhile, the main gaming floor is also being expanded, and a total of 250 new slots have come on line to date. As part of that expansion, the gaming floor also features the new B Lo Bar. One of the non-gaming highlights of the project is the new WD Bar & Grille restaurant, located on the expansion’s second floor. The new restaurant, which is themed after the popular Western Door Steakhouse restaurant located at both Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, is now

open for dinner seven nights a week beginning at 5pm. The space offers beautiful views of the city from both the dining room and an outdoor patio. Additional gaming, dining, and retail amenities are still under construction and will be unveiled in the coming weeks, including:

A new High Limit gaming area and completion of the main gaming floor configuration

The Creek restaurant on the main floor, featuring casual dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Exit 6 offering high-end retail and accessories

When the expansion is fully complete, the gaming floor will offer more than 1,100 slot machines and more than 30 table games. Not only is the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino expansion going to elevate the guest experience at Buffalo’s most popular entertainment destination with new gaming, dining and entertainment offerings, the project is also making a significant economic impact. Approximately 300 new jobs are being created at the casino as a result of the expansion. Casino officials report that more than 200 of the new jobs have been filled, and they are in the hiring process for nearly 100 additional jobs. The expansion will bring total employment at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino to approximately 800 workers. In addition to the casino jobs, approximately 440 construction jobs will have been created by the time the entire project is completed. “Having a year-round destination that attracts approximately 3 million visitors each year, employs approximately 800 workers and creates a vibrant energy helps to establish a level of excitement that ripples throughout the area,” said Barry E. Snyder, Sr., chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation board of directors. “This casino expansion will add another level to that energy and excitement.” With the $40 million expansion, the Seneca Nation and Seneca Gaming Corporation will have invested approximately $200 million on the Nation’s sovereign nine-acre Buffalo Creek Territory since opening the original Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in 2007. Since opening Seneca Niagara Casino in 2002, the Seneca Nation has invested more than $1 Billion to develop its three area gaming and entertainment properties. “This $40 million project continues the economic path the Seneca Nation set 15 years ago,” said Seneca Nation President Todd Gates. “Our gaming developments has been transformative for the local economy, for the thousands of people we employ, for the local construction trades, for our many business partners throughout the region, and for the people of Western New York.”
