SENECA BUFFALO CREEK CASINO WILL HOST FREE TASTE OF COUNTRY AFTER PARTY ON JUNE 12 ‘Kickin’ it at the Creek’ will feature live music starting at 10 p.m. BUFFALO, N.Y. – One of downtown Buffalo’s biggest hotspots is getting into the action of one of the city’s most anticipated summer events in a big way. Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino announced that it will host the official “Kickin’ it at the Creek” after party for the 2015 WYRK Toyota Taste of Country concert next Friday. The after party will start at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 12, and the fun will continue until 2 a.m., including live music from Nashville recording artist and Taste of Country participant Canaan Smith, Canadian country star Shayna Lynn Dawson, and Buffalo’s own Ashton Hollow Band. The party takes place on the surface parking lot at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, located along Michigan Ave., between Perry Street and South Park Avenue. Admission is free and open to the public. “Next Friday is just going to be plain fun in downtown Buffalo,” said Jennifer Caruso, general manager, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. “Bringing the energy, the crowd, and some of the exceptional performers from the Taste of Country at Coca-Cola Field and mixing it with the excitement at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is going to make for an unbelievable evening. We’re getting summer started on the right foot.”
Now in its 16th year, the WYRK Toyota Taste of Country is one of the signature outdoor music events in Western New York. This year’s Taste of Country lineup includes, Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Frankie Ballard, Craig Campbell, and Canaan Smith & A Thousand Horses. The concert regularly draws a capacity crowd of more than 26,000 fans to downtown Buffalo each year. Seneca Resorts & Casinos is one of the sponsors of this year’s concert.
