While the line-up spans multiple genres, the acts have one thing in common: extraordinary live performances that will leave you wanting more. The line-up includes the classic rock sounds of Grand Funk Railroad’s Mark Farner (November 6, Bear’s Den Showroom), and Meat Loaf (November 14, Seneca Allegany Events Center), the hard-charging Southern Rock of Blackfoot with Special Guest Rickey Medlocke (November 20, Bear’s Den Showroom), the timeless folk/pop stylings of the legendary Gordon Lightfoot (November 7, Seneca Niagara Events Center), exceptional powerhouse performances by top Native American artists Thunderhand Joe (November 13, Bear’s Den Showroom), and Indigenous (November 20, Seneca Allegany Events Center), and a pair of shows featuring the side-splitting comedy of Williams & Ree, often billed as “The Indian and the White Guy” (November 21, Bear’s Den Showroom).
Tickets for all November shows go on sale on Friday, August 21 at Noon, and are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000. Canada’s Gordon Lightfoot is one of the seminal voices of the singer/songwriter era, whose music inspired and has been covered by musical giants from Elvis Presley to Bob Dylan. Powered by his strong, smooth voice, Lightfoot became internationally known for such hit songs as “If You Could Read My Mind”, “Sundown”, Carefree Highway”, “Early Mornin’ Rain”, “Rainy Day People”, and “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” among many others. A member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, he has earned five Grammy nominations and 17 Juno Awards – and a legion of fans – throughout a more than 50-year career of remarkable songwriting and recording. One of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 80 million records sold to date, Meat Loaf seared his name into the lexicon of popular music with his powerful voice and larger-than-life live performances. His breakthrough album, the iconic Bat Out of Hell, produced a collection of powerful and memorable songs, including “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth,” “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad,” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights,” earning him widespread acclaim. Meat Loaf later won a Grammy Award for the single “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, from the 1993 release Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell.
