JULY FORECAST FEATURES FAMILY FUN UNDER THE STARS WITH FREE FRIDAY MOVIES AT SENECA NIAGARA RESORT & CASINO NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has a blockbuster opportunity for everyone throughout Western New York to enjoy some free summer fun. The region’s hottest entertainment resort destination will offer free outdoor movies every Friday during July. The movies, which are available to everyone of all ages, will be shown in Seneca Square, located in front of the Fourth Street entrance to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Guests should bring their own chairs. “Western New York summers are incredible and we wanted to help make this summer extra special,” said Audrey Oswell, chief operating officer, Seneca Gaming Corporation. The free movies start on Friday, July 1 with a viewing of the John Hughes classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, which is celebrating its 30-year anniversary this year. On July 8, everyone can enjoy Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp, as a lead-in to that weekend’s performance by The Hollywood Vampires. The band, which includes Depp and rockers Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, will be performing an outdoor concert on July 9. Another John Hughes classic, The Breakfast Club, will be shown on July 15. The following week, on July 22, Grease will be shown in Seneca Square. Showing the legendary musical sets the stage for a performance by the movie’s star, Olivia Newton John, who will be performing in the Seneca Events Center on July 23. The free outdoor movies wrap up on July 29, with a viewing of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In addition to the movies, the festive atmosphere in Seneca Square will include food trucks and concession stands, along with a DJ playing music starting at 7 p.m.
The free outdoor movies add to a summer full of fun and sizzling entertainment at Seneca Niagara.
