COUNTRY MUSIC LOVER’S DELIGHT THIS JULY AND AUGUST AT SENECA CASINOS NIAGARA FALLS and SALAMANCA, NY – Country music lovers are in for a treat this July and August as Seneca Casinos brings three of the music industry’s best performers to its Events Centers as part of the 2012 “Summer Rush” Concert Series. Lonestar makes a stop in Salamanca, NY, as part of its 20th anniversary tour on Saturday, July 14, at Seneca Allegany Events Center. One of country’s rising stars, Billy Currington, comes to Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls, NY, on Saturday, July 28. And one of country music’s most accomplished performers, Trace Adkins, will deliver an unforgettable concert at Seneca Allegany on Sunday, August 26. Tickets start at just $35 to hear Lonestar’s classic hits such as “Amazed,” “I’m Already There” and “Mr. Mom” live at Seneca Allegany Events Center on July 14 at 7 p.m. The multi-platinum country music quartet is reunited with original lead singer Richie McDonald in time for its 20th anniversary tour, and also is in the process of making a new, self-produced album. Lonestar has achieved 10 No. 1 country hits as well as the 1999 ACM Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “Amazed,” and 2001 CMA Vocal Group of the Year. Billy Currington broke onto the country music scene in 2003 and already has an impressive six No. 1 country hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, such as “People Are Crazy,” “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” and “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right.” Currington calls his latest album, Enjoy Yourself, a “good vibe” album, and said he hopes “it’s one of those albums that people can put in when they’re hanging out in their camp spot or they’re grilling out by their pool and just feel good through the whole thing.” His rich tenor and relaxed delivery have earned him multiple music award nominations, including seven in 2010 for the song “People Are Crazy” from the Grammy, ACM, and CMA Awards. Tickets for the July 28 show at 8 p.m. at Seneca Niagara Events Center start at $60.

Trace Adkins is one of country music’s most versatile and accomplished entertainers. In the 15 years since his platinum debut, he released 10 studio albums, three greatest hits packages, and 30 chart singles. Along the way, he earned four Grammy nominations, three ACM awards, and two CMT awards. Adkins also made his mark as a TV and film actor, a voiceover artist, an author, a social commentator, and a participant on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice.” At Seneca Allegany Events Center on Sunday, August 28, he will perform many of his hits as well as songs from his latest album, Proud to Be Here – including the Top Ten single “Just Fishin’.” Tickets start at $65 for the 5 p.m. show. Tickets for all three country music shows are available at Seneca Casino box offices, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
