DIANA KRALL HEADLINES NEW ADDITIONS TO NOVEMBER ENTERTAINMENT AT SENECA NIAGARA RESORT & CASINO NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – Five-time Grammy® Award–winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall will cap off an exciting month of November entertainment at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino this fall. Krall will perform inside the Seneca Niagara Events Center on November 29, and a variety of concerts inside the Bear’s Den Showroom also will take place throughout the month, including Thunderhand Joe & The Medicine Show, The Monkees Lead Singer Micky Dolenz, Williams & Ree: The Indian and the White Guy and Bobby Hendricks’ Drifters. One of the preeminent artists in jazz today, Diana Krall, will perform at Seneca Niagara Events Center on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. as part of a U.S. tour in support of her upcoming new album, “Wallflower.” Tickets start at $35 and are on sale now. Krall has sold more albums than any other female jazz artist of the last 30 years, establishing herself as one of the best-selling and most beloved performers of her generation, one whose recordings thus far have earned her nine gold, three platinum and seven multi-platinum albums. Her upcoming album, “Wallflower,” will be released on October 21 and includes her interpretations of some of the greatest pop songs of all time. It is produced by 16time Grammy Award–winning producer David Foster and also includes an unreleased composition from Paul McCartney ("If I Take You Home Tonight"). Kicking off November performances in the intimate Bear’s Den Showroom on Saturday, Nov. 1 is Thunderhand Joe & The Medicine Show, a premier Native American rock band led by a former drummer for the band Redbone. Tickets start at $20 and are on sale now. Thunderhand Joe and his band will provide an evening of rhythm and blues, rock and roll, country and funk as part of an overall unique, cultural sound.
The Bear’s Den Showroom will turn back to calendar to 1966 on Friday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m., as The Monkees Lead Singer Micky Dolenz performs timeless hits such as “I’m A Believer,” “Daydream Believer” and “Last Train to Clarksville.” Tickets start at $35 and are on sale now. Dolenz, the drummer and lead singer of the 1960’s television band The Monkees, is an Emmy Award–winning, multiplatinum record selling, modern-day cult icon. Williams & Ree: The Indian and the White Guy, returns to the Bear’s Den Showroom this November after a previous visit in January that had the crowd roaring with laughter. On Saturday, Nov. 15, the duo will perform a matinee show at 3 p.m. with tickets starting at just $15, followed by an evening show at 8 p.m. with tickets starting at $20. Tickets are on sale now. Williams & Ree’s shows feature a lively, fast-paced mixture of comedy bits, social/political commentary and racial zings entwined with original songs. Essential to their humor is the duo’s jokes about their differences. Finally, on Friday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m., Bobby Hendricks’ Drifters will fill the Bear’s Den Showroom with classic R&B and soul. Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now. As a solo artist in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, Hendricks scored hits on the Billboard charts with songs such as “Itchy Twitchy Feeling” and “Psycho.” He also joined The Drifters in 1957, and continues today to carry on the group’s legacy with live performances. Additional acts at the Bear’s Den Showroom this November include Coca Montoya on November 8 and the remaining three comedians as part of the eight-week Comedy Series at the Bear’s Den, sponsored by 97 Rock: Colin Jost (November 6), Brent Morin (November 13) and Michael Che (November 20). In addition, Seneca Niagara Events Center welcomes Roger Hodgson – Legendary Singer-Songwriter, Formerly of Supertramp on November 7 and Steve Miller Band on November 21.
