J O H N D U N A W A Y is a merchant mariner by trade, outdoorsman by choice, capturing those moments that life offers through the lens of his camera. For half the year, life is spent working aboard a cargo ship that moves goods all across the globe. When not offshore for 6 months of the year, John lives with his wife, daughter and two hunting labs in Texas partaking in the outdoors anywhere nature has afforded it, but come hunting season he doesn’t stray far from the field or duck blind.

TONY CZECH has spent most of his life climbing, skiing, surfing and chasing adventure but his path to photography wasn’t exactly planned or direct. After studying advertising in college, he landed at a Denver-based agency working with some of his favorite brands. He found himself drawing on his experiences in the outdoors to help develop client campaigns. He quickly picked up a camera and started shooting concepts for the agency. The first photo he brought back became the backbone of a large campaign for The North Face. In that moment, Tony realized his passions for adventure and the advertising world fit together perfectly as a photographer.

BRITTON WASMER is 100% self taught and has shot for some of the most prestigious companies out there. Having been in over 9 countries last year alone, Britton travels all over the world shooting some of the most beautiful landscapes from the Philippines to the Rocky Mountains and everything in-between. Britton has always had a love for traveling and spends no more than 2 weeks at home at a time without jet setting off to another beautiful destination. He’s never seen without his camera because some of the best images he’s taken were captured on a whim including the one shown here. This photo was taken deep in the mountain side just a few miles outside of Winter Park, Colorado this past winter.

ELIAS CARLSON is a freelance graphic designer, self-taught photographer, and occasional outdoor-lifestyle writer born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2006 with a B.A. in Visual Communication. Close contact with the forests, mountains, and rivers of Washington state led to a passionate love affair with the outdoors that continues unabated. His photographic work attempts to explore the many facets of man’s relationship with nature, and of course, functions as an excuse to get outside as often as possible.
