The ground outside is still covered with snow, but many migrating birds have begun to appear at our feeder again. It’s no longer dark when I wake up in the morning. The increasing daylight this time of year always makes me feel optimistic, like just about anything is possible. Late winter in New England also means the start of maple sugaring season. You can FIND read a bit about it in this issue’s The End (page 40). If you’ve never been to a sugar US shack while its evaporation tanks are running, I strongly suggest you make space for a visit to one on your calendar. ON March also brings us the 2022 New England Cannabis Convention, taking place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, March 18–20.
