Page 1

How is UAT performed? Steps involved in performing UAT test:

Plan: Start the testing process by thorough planning. The plan should revolve around concept planning, team

planning, test duration planning,

communication strategy planning, and a UAT checklist

Execute: Now comes the main part, i.e.

execution of the test. The test is done

by the end-user/client/product owner. It can either be done at the client’s

location or in a test lab depending on

the geographical location of the tester

Document: Prepare the test report and make sure that the report should clearly states

the bug identified, bug resolved and feedback received from clients.

Evaluate: In this step, compare actual goals

with the pre-defined goals to ensure whether the predefined objectives have been met or not.

Report: This is the last step where the teams report their learning and give

feedback so that the learning can be further implemented in the next project.
