DAFEN VILLAGE
North side of Shenzhen is Dafen Village (大芬村). A bustling art-factory of over 8,000 art-workers, it produces 60% of the world's oil paintings - mostly fake paintings. In recent years, Dafen has gone beyond its physical locale and developed into a national production network. More and more Dafen paintings are being produced in other places, such as Wenzhou, Fuzhou and Xiamen. While Dafen Village itself is transforming into a headquarter showroom and trade center, “Dafen” has become a cultural brand. But what kind of culture(s) does Dafen have?

Circulation as structure
(as tie beam of pheriphery columns) The circulation of the upper level is at the same time structure mumbers of the whole building. The handrail is made of concrete and acts as tie beam of the columns that ties them to vertical cores. The tie beam ensure that two buildings binds strongly together.

Vertical structure system
Vertical structure system is composed of coloun, core, loadbearing wall and track. The track is the extention of loadbearing wall which further connects to the cores. The overall structure is tightly connects and joined with each other.
MEDIATION -Relationship between two towers
Space in generic tower is extended to the new tower, new kind of communal space generated. Structural model(1:100)
Circulation is used to mediate two towers that forms continious flow.
