The physical descriptions, attributions, origins, and printing dates of the books and photographs have been carefully ascertained by collations and through close analysis of comparable works. BARNEY SELLERS. Photographers and Cameramen Shooting Elvis Presley when at Military Induction Exams Center, Memphis, Tennessee, March 1958. Vintage silver print, 195x245 mm, captions and agency stamp verso. Elvis received his draft notice Friday December 20, 1957. 'It's a duty I've got to fill and I'm going to do it', he said. Initially ordered to report for duty January 20, he received a deferment for the filming of 'King Creole' already in preproduction. The deferment was granted and Elvis was inducted March 24, 1958.
