In addition to all of the success with the Pirates, Moon reached perhaps the ultimate highlight of his career during the 2000 Summer Olympics where he served as the first assistant coach for the United States Men’s Track Team in Sydney, Australia. Moon was appointed to the position on December 3, 1997, a sign of the respect he has earned throughout the nation. The appointment was Moon’s fifth international coaching assignment. In 1995 he served as the head coach for the United States team at the Pan American games in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Moon’s squad brought home 36 medals, including a bronze by former Pirate star Flirtisha Harris.

2010 REVIEW
Seton Hall has had tremendous success over the years on the regional and national levels. Most recently, Nolle Graham was named the 2002 Female Indoor Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track Coaches Association. A five-time All-American, Graham won two-straight ECAC outdoor long jump titles, setting a new meet record in 2002. Graham took home All-America honors by finishing fifth in the long jump at the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Championships, where Mike Roberts also earned All-America honors in the triple jump, finishing eighth. Graham took home All-America honors at the 2000 NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing second in the long jump. Ned Brooks also earned All-America honors for the second straight year in the 800 meters, finishing seventh.

The 1996-97 season was highlighted by both the men’s and women’s 1600-meter relay teams continuing their strong tradition by earning All-America status at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Both Pirate relay teams also won at the prestigious Mobil Invitational while the women’s 1600 team captured the Millrose Games title. In 1994-95, the men’s team placed second at both the IC4A and BIG EAST Championships, while standout quarter-miler Kevin Lyles earned All-America honors with topfour finishes at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Five members of the women’s team earned All-American status.
2010 REVIEW RECORD BOOK
The 1993-94 season was a historic one for Coach Moon and the Seton Hall women’s team as it reached new heights of national recognition. The Pirates finished third at the 1994 NCAA Indoor Track Championships, the highest in school history, while four athletes were crowned NCAA champions ftitles at the Outdoor Championships for the first time. Flirtisha Harris became the first NCAA Champion for the Seton Hall women’s athletics program when she won the 400 meter title, and then was a member of the NCAA Champion 1600 meter relay team along with Shermaine Ross, Keisha Caine and Julia Sandiford. The women’s team duplicated those national championship feats later on in the year when Harris and the 1600 team again won the NCAA titles at the Outdoor Championships.
SETON HALL UNIVERSITY
That performance, along with team titles at the BIG EAST and ECAC Indoor Championship, earned Moon the honor of NCAA Women’s Track Coach of the Year for the Indoor Season as selected by the United States Track Coaches Association of America.

It marked the first time in his stellar career that he earned national Coach of the Year honors, but Moon’s accomplishments have been recognized regionally quite often. He was named the 1994 District 2 Men’s Outdoor Track Coach of the Year, marking the seventh time he earned district honors. He has also been named the Coach of the Year in the BIG EAST seven times, the Metropolitan Coach of the Year 11 times, and the Collegiate Track Conference Coach of the Year six times.. Also highlighting the 1993-94 season was the performance of the women’s 1600 meter relay team which won the Championship of America at the Penn Relays, another first for the Seton Hall women’s track program. The men’s distance medley team broke the 23-year old American record during the indoor season with an effort of 9:38.46. The 1992-93 campaign was one of Moon’s most prosperous as he was named the District 2 Coach of the Year after leading the men to the BIG EAST Indoor Champion ship and the women to their first-ever BIG EAST Outdoor Championship. Moon and his assistants were recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year for the men at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships as well as for the women at the BIG EAST Outdoor meet. That year, Moon produced nine All-Americans and led the women to a then bestever sixth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. His contributions to Seton Hall have been recognized with two of the University’s highest honors. On September 18, 1997, Moon was inducted in the Seton Hall Athletic Hall of Fame along with Andrew Valmon, one of his top athletes. On March 28, 1996, Moon was awarded the McQuaid Medal for Distinguished Service at Charter Day ceremonies. The medal is given annually to members of the University community who have served beyond measure with selfless dedication and high distinction. In 1985, Moon was honored with the prestigious Jesse Abramson Award for his dedication to track and field.
PIRATE XC COACHING STAFF 2011 SEASON
Moon became Seton Hall’s head coach in 1972 and was an instant success, garnering newspaper headlines such as “Moon Gleams” (Elizabeth Daily Journal) and “Moon Shooting High” (New York Times). Replacing the legendary Johnny Gibson as the Pirates’ mentor was no easy task, but Moon made the transition prosperous for Seton Hall. In his first season, Moon coached the mile relay team to first place at the NCAA Indoor Championships and has not looked back since. Moon has coached with numerous United States national track teams, including the 1995 Pan American squad, and has competed in over 50 countries. In addition, he served as an assistant coach at the 1991 Goodwill Games and was head coach of the East team in the national 2011 SETON HALL UNIVERSITY CROSS COUNTRY
PIRATE PROFILES 2010 REVIEW
Moon’s coaching career began at Kilmer Job Center in Piscataway, NJ. He then moved on to Rahway High School, a school with a dormant track program. At the Union County school, he compiled a dual meet mark of 99-11 over a six year period, claiming 33 championships in the process. More importantly, every senior that Moon coached at Rahway went on to college.
Some of the outstanding athletes who have competed at Seton Hall during Moon’s tenure include four 1988 Summer Olympic participants: Gold medalist in the 1600-meter relay and BIG EAST record holder Andrew Valmon, 1987 NCAA 800 meter champion Tracy Baskin, three-time AllAmerican and twice BIG EAST most outstanding performer Angela Williams, and Michael Paul, who ranked second in the world in the 400 meters while at Seton Hall. Valmon was also a member of the United States’ 4 x 400 relay team which won the gold medal and set the world record at the 1993 World Championships at Stutggart, Germany. Other outstanding athletes coached by Moon were former Olympians Ben Fields and Moses Ugbisie, and Derrick Peynado, who won an unprecedented four gold medals at the 1982 IC4A meet. The most recent Seton Hall athlete to compete in the Olympics is 1993 graduate Shana Williams. Williams, who won the national indoor long jump title in 1996, competed in the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta in the long jump and was an alternate at the 2000 Summer Games.
RECORD BOOK
After excelling on the prep level, Moon moved on to Tennessee State where he earned All-American honors. Before graduating in 1961, he was one of the top sprinters in the school’s history. His time of 9.3 in the 100 yard dash in 1960 tied the world record. While at Tennessee State, the lightning-quick Moon won the NAIA and placed third in the NCAA Championships. In fact, he is the last man to beat Olympic legend Bob Hayes in a race, accomplishing the feat in 1964. At the National AAU Championships at Rutgers Stadium in 1963, Moon finished second. He also ran a time of 20.3 in the 220 and 46.2 in the quarter mile. He was elected to Tennessee State’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988.
Olympic Festival in 1983. In 1975, he coached the United States Junior National team that toured Poland, Germany and Russia. That summer of ’75 saw the Moon coached 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams break world records.
Moon’s involvement with the sport is extensive as he is a former President of the IC4A. He is also the past president of both the BIG EAST Track Coaches and the Metropolitan Track Conference, while he has served as the New Jersey delegate to USA Track 15 times.
SETON HALL UNIVERSITY
Moon was a standout in both track and football at Linden High School. He was an All-State and All-American performer in high school, running the 100 in 9.7 and the 220 in 21.0.
Moon, who resides in Somerset, N.J., with his wife, Thelma, holds a master’s degree from Seton Hall in administrative supervision. He is also a commander in the United States Naval Reserve.

SEASON PREVIEW
T
PIRATE XC
he 2010 season featured strong performances from some of the youngest members of the men’s and women’s cross country teams. In a preview of things to come, the top men’s finisher was an underclassman in each meet while an underclassman led the charge for the women in all but one race.
COACHING STAFF
The year kicked-off for both squads at the Monmouth Invitational in West Long Branch, N.J. After covering the 6K distance, the men’s team recorded a fifth-place finish out of seven teams. Carl Johnston was the men’s top finisher, turning in a time of 19:26 to place a season-best 13th in his first collegiate race. In all, the seven Pirates who contributed to team scoring posted times under 21:20.
2011 SEASON
The collective effort of the women’s team was enough to place fourth in the five team field. Sophomore Hughnique Rolle paced the team, as she often did last season, placing 18th out of 78 individual runners with a 4K time of 15:44. Senior Ali Hehn also finished in the top third of the individual field, coming in at 24th. Freshman Nyala Eddings was a top-three finisher for the team in her debut, placing 34th with a time of16:24.
PIRATE PROFILES
Next up for both teams was a trip to Syracuse, N.Y. for the BIG EAST Preview meet. For the second-straight race, the men’s team placed fifth in a seven team field. Sophomore Jared Hanko led the team with a 28th place finish, clocking a time of 20:06. Junior Erik Chester recorded a season best 6K time of 21:21, finishing 41st. Junior Andrew O’Leary, a Syracuse area
native, finished 46th with sophomore Tony Cramond hot on his heels coming in at 47th. The Hall’s final two scorers, senior Dwight Parker and junior Mamadou Niang finished soon after, placing 50th and 52nd respectively. On the women’s side, Seton Hall managed a seventh place finish out of nine teams. In the 76 runner field, the five SHU women that counted towards scoring finished in a flurry. Hughnique Rolle was again the team’s top finisher, finishing 46th. Four of her teammates, led by sophomore Eloisa Paredes in 49th, were among the next nine runners to finish. Two places behind her, Eddings again posted a time good enough for third on the team. A pair of seniors, Madison Wrest and KeAira Dickerson wrapped the Pirates scoring, finishing 53rd and 55th. The teams would next take to the road to compete in the Delaware Invitational. Both teams placed fourth out of four teams. For the men, both Andrew O’Leary and Tony Cramond turned in season best 8K performances. O’Leary ran a 29:25.39 placing 31st with Cramond close behind, finishing 33rd with a time of 29:36.78. Carl Johnston posted the team’s top time, finishing 18th in 27:39.14 with an average mile of 5:33. Rolle again paced the women, taking home 23rd place in a Division I field of 49. Ali Hehn placed 27th with Paredes and Eddings close behind in 32nd and 34th. For Eddings, her time of 21:15.29 was her best 5K mark of the season. Wrest and Dickerson factored in the team’s scoring for the second straight race and sophomore Christina Chafos scored for the first time in 2010, finishing 48th.
2010 REVIEW
In what was perhaps the team’s strongest performance of the season, both the men and women placed third after traveling south to Daytona Beach, Fla. to take part in the Asics/ Embry Riddle Classic. Jared Hanko led the men’s effort for the second time on the season, placing a season best 14th. Seniors Dwight Parker and Tom Corona also enjoyed running in the Florida weather, turning in finishes of 18th and 20th respectively. Chester, Niang and O’Leary also made the trip and placed in the top-30.
RECORD BOOK
Hughnique Rolle and Ali Hehn finished back-to-back in seventh and eighth positions to record the only top-10 individual finishes for SHU on the year. Paredes took 13th with Dickerson and Wrest coming in next for the Pirates at 18th and 21st. Christina Chafos finished 27th (24:06) and freshman Sophia Fils-Aime took 38th (26:13), crossing the tape in their best 5K times of 2010.
SETON HALL UNIVERSITY
The teams would return to the northeast to compete in the Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. The men’s squad finished 11th out of 13 teams behind a team-best 30th place finish by Carl Johnston and Jared Hanko’s quickest 8K time of the season (28:11) which was good enough to place him 47th.
8
SEASON PREVIEW PIRATE XC
(100th) were the only Pirates on either side to post a top-100 finish. Hughnique Rolle again finished first for the women, coming in at 104th.
COACHING STAFF
Following the conference championship, several Pirates traveled to State College, Pa. for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Meet. Johnston and Rolle again led the way for their respective teams. Johnston finished the 10K race in 33:48 with an average mile of 5:26 to place 135th. Rolle delivered a 6K time of 22:53, earning her 92nd place. As a team, the men would finish 27th out of 28 teams while the women finished 26th in a field of 29.
2011 SEASON
Both teams would conclude the season by finishing 20th at the IC4A/ECAC Championships in the familiar surroundings of Van Cortlandt Park. Johnston again paced the men with a 75th place time of 27:22 while senior Madison Wrest led the women in her final collegiate race, running a 20:38 5K to place 124th. Off the course, the 2010 Pirates were standouts in the classroom. Seven members of the men’s team and the entire women’s roster were recognized as BIG EAST Academic AllStars.
The women finished eighth out of eight teams but were once again led by team best finishes from Hughnique Rolle and Ali Hehn. Rolle finished in 23:08 to take 18th place while Hehn finished in 23:50 to place 35th. KeAira Dickerson and Eloisa Paredes posted matching times of 24:22 to occupy 45th and 46th positions. Eddings, 53rd and Chafos, 74th rounded out the effort. At the 2010 BIG EAST Championship, it was a familiar scene for Seton Hall. Back in Syracuse, N.Y. for the second time on the year, the men’s team recorded its third straight 14th place finish while the women posted its second straight 16th place finish at the meet. Carl Johnston (81st) and Jared Hanko

2010 REVIEW
In our valued-centered curricula, programs and extracurricular activities, we focus on academics and devleopment of the individual. Our graduates continue to prove themselves as leaders in their professions and communities. Seton Hall gives you all the resources you would find in a large university. But, with only 5,200 undergraduates and a 15:1 student-faculty ratio, you get the personal attention of a small liberal arts college.

“
Seton Hall is about caring and sharing - to pass a torch to students that is burning brighter than the one passed to us. Tony Lovisick, PH.D. Chair, Finance and Legal Studies Stillman School of Business
Our faculty comprised of a distinguished group of scholars that have earned advanced degrees both in the U.S. and abroad. You will study alongside these learned men and women collaborating with them in developing new concepts and researching meaningful topics. And don’t think they won’t be involved in your academic careers - personal attention is at the heart of academic excellence.
“
I give the highest importance to my contact with students ... they are the school’s most important asset. Ambassador s. azmat hassan Senior Faculty Associate Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations
The Hall’s campus expands dramatically when you include the surrounding areas. Hop the train to the next town west, Maplewood, for a slice of pizza, or two stops and you are in Millburn with great sushi restaurants or just a few more and your are in Summit where you can do shopping at clothing stores like Benetton or Roots, Inc. And don’t forget about the Jersey Shore or skiing in Northern New Jersey in the winter.
Combine a student-discounted New Jersey transit ticket, with 30 minutes train-time, and you’re at Penn Statiion in Midtown Manhattan. From there, train, bus or walk to the neighborhood of your choice. Time Square’s Theater District: plays and musicals. Upper Fifth Avenue, dubbed Museum Mile; venerable institutions like the Metropolitan and the Guggenheim. Head Downtown and check out the financial district including the New York Stock Exchange. Besides the cultural and entertainment opportunities New York’s burrough of Manhattan provides, many students take advantage of internships with museums, nonprofit and government agencies, law and accounting firms, television and print media - the list goes on and on.

PATRICK
LYONS
Director of Athletics and Recreational Services
Patrick G. Lyons was named Director of Athletics and Recreational Services at Seton Hall University on February 22, 2011.
of the soccer and lacrosse programs. In addition, Iona created Rice Oval Softball field, the first on-campus home for the softball program.
Lyons comes to Seton Hall after spending seven years as Iona College’s Director of Athletics. Lyons’ student-athlete centered vision was incorporated into several initiatives at Iona. Working closely with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Lyons emphasized a community service element for all of Iona’s 400+ student-athletes and 21 Division I athletic programs. He has also shown a deep commitment to student-athlete development and academic standards through additional support services and facilities in both the compliance and academic services offices.
Before elevating to his current role, Lyons was the Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. In that role, he was responsible for all revenue generation by the athletics department with primary oversight of the department’s fundraising arm - The Goal Club. This included, but was not limited to, all fundraising activities and marketing for the department including the annual golf tournament, sponsorships, and the annual fund.
Under Lyons, the Iona athletics department has seen unprecedented growth and success both on and off the fields of play. The men’s cross country team continued its storied success earning a second straight national runner-up finish at the NCAA Championship in November 2008. The program has finished in the Top-10 at the national championship in each of the last nine years. Along with the University of Wisconsin, no other program has seen the same success. The men’s and women’s basketball programs have established a reputation for being one of the top programs in the MAAC. The women enjoyed their most successful five-year stint in program history and have made three postseason appearances in the last four seasons. The men’s program earned an NCAA Championship appearance in 2006, won 21 games in 2009-10 and has continued to rank among the leaders in the MAAC and the New York Metropolitan Area. Other Gael programs that saw success under Lyons tutelage have been the women’s cross country team with five straight MAAC Championships, the softball program earning its first ever bid to the NCAA Championship in 2010, the men’s soccer program with a MAAC Regular Season Championship in 2009 and a MAAC finals appearance in 2010. The volleyball team reached the NCAA Championship in 2004 and returned to the MAAC finals in 2010. In addition, Iona’s women’s lacrosse and women’s water polo programs continued to excel in 2009-10. Where Lyons truly made his mark at Iona has been in fundraising and improvements made to athletics facilities. The Iona Gaels Capital Improvements Fund was created by Lyons as the first capital fundraising effort in the department’s history. Among several enhancements, the most dramatic and impressive changes were the opening of both the Hynes Athletics Center and the Judge Student-Athlete Academic Center in January of 2006. Lyons also oversaw the complete renovation of the varsity locker rooms - where each program now has its own space for the first time in school history, the addition of a video screening room for its athletic programs as well as the resurfacing of both the Hynes Center basketball/volleyball arena floor and the surface of Mazzella Field, home
38
Prior to that role, Lyons served as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. He oversaw all NCAA, MAAC, and institutional policies and regulations, as well as team scheduling, student-athlete financial aid, the student-athlete advisory committee, and payroll for all staff as well as student-workers. Lyons also coordinated the NCAA certification process, from the self study to on-campus visits. As a coach, Lyons led the Iona golf team to its most successful four-year span. At the helm of the Gaels from 1998-02, he directed the squad to three MAAC Championships and earned a berth in the NCAA Golf Championship in each of his three full seasons. A native of Providence, R.I., Lyons was a two-sport standout in hockey and golf. One of the most prolific scorers in school history, Lyons tallied 80 goals and 90 assists during his 86-game career and led all of NCAA Division I hockey in goals per game during the 1995-96 season. He captained the golf team during his junior and senior seasons and in 1996, received the Joseph O’Connell award, given annually to Iona’s most outstanding student-athlete. In 1999, Lyons earned his master’s degree in teaching from Iona and earned an MBA from the Hagan School of Business in 2004. Lyons has also served as an adjunct professor in both the Biology department at Iona and the Sports Business Management program at Manhattanville College. Lyons has served on several committees at the national and conference level. He is a member of the NCAA Division I Championships and Sports Management Cabinet where he serves as a liaison to the men’s and women’s ice hockey committees. Lyons served as the Chairman of MAAC Cross Country Committee and previously as chairman of the MAAC Committee on Athletics Administration. He also serves on the MAAC Marketing and Strategic Planning Committees. Lyons is married to the former Rachel Cintolo, a pediatric nurse practitioner and clinical faculty at Columbia University.

THE BIG EAST CONFERENCE Connecticut claimed the league’s Bowl Championship Series bid for the first time as the Huskies shared the conference title with Pittsburgh and West Virginia. Six of the league’s eight squads went to bowl games and helped the BIG EAST post a 4-2 bowl record for the second straight year. The BIG EAST became the nation’s largest Division I-A conference in 2005-06 when five new members began competing – the University of Cincinnati, DePaul University, the University of Louisville, Marquette University and the University of South Florida. BIG EAST institutions reside in nine of the nation’s top 35 largest media markets, including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Tampa, Pittsburgh, Hartford, Cincinnati and Milwaukee. With its newest members, BIG EAST markets contain almost one-fourth of all television households in the U.S. When Texas Christian University joins the conference in the 2012-13 academic year, the conference will have a footprint in 30 percent of the nation’s television households. The 2011-12 academic year is the 33rd in the history of The BIG EAST Conference as the unique consortium marches on competing at the highest level with integrity and sportsmanship. The BIG EAST has gone through membership changes since its birth, but the 201112 year marks the conference’s seventh straight with the same 16-member group, making for the nation’s largest Division I-A conference. The BIG EAST Conference’s goals have always been the same. The outstanding performances of the student-athletes at BIG EAST schools are evidence of the league’s proud tradition of success. The league has always been able to boast that many of its best students are also its best athletes. The 2010-11 year was no different. Seven BIG EAST student-athletes were named NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship winners, while 22 earned Capital One Academic All-America recognition. Maya Moore, Connecticut’s women’s basketball standout, won the NCAA Honda-Broderick Cup as the nation’s top female student-athlete and was chosen as the Capital One Academic All-America of the Year. In the athletic arena, BIG EAST student-athletes again enjoyed success on the national stage. The Connecticut men’s basketball team won its third national championship, completing a magical run through five games of the BIG EAST Championship and six wins in the NCAA tournament. The Villanova women’s cross country team won the NCAA title for the second straight year and the ninth time overall. The Notre Dame women’s soccer team won its third NCAA title, while BIG EAST teams reached national championship games in women’s basketball (Notre Dame) and men’s soccer (Louisville). The BIG EAST placed two teams in the NCAA Women’s Final Four for the second time in the last three years as Connecticut joined Notre Dame in Indianapolis, capping a season in which the Huskies extended their NCAA-record winning streak to 90 games. Individually, BIG EAST student-athletes won five NCAA championships, including an unprecedented four by Villanova’s Sheila Reid. Reid was the 2010 individual cross country champion, a member of the Wildcats’ winning indoor distance medley relay team and won the 5,000- and 1,500-meter titles in outdoor track & field. Louisville’s Matt Hughes, meanwhile, repeated as the NCAA champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA outdoor meet. Moore and Reid joined Notre Dame soccer standout Melissa Henderson as winners of Honda Sports Awards as the top performers in their respective sports. Moore also became the first three-time winner of the Wade Trophy as the nation’s top women’s basketball player and joined Villanova lacrosse player Brian Karalunas as winners of the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. BIG EAST football maintained its national profile as a competitively balanced group.
Since opening its doors in 1979, the league has won 31 national championships in six different sports and 133 student-athletes have won individual national titles. In 2003-04, Connecticut became the first school in NCAA history to win the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball titles in the same season. In ’02-03, the BIG EAST became the first conference in NCAA history to win the men’s and women’s titles in the same year when the Syracuse men and the Connecticut women captured their respective national championships. In men’s basketball, BIG EAST squads have won four of the last 13 NCAA championships. BIG EAST women’s teams have taken seven of the last 12 NCAA titles. Proactive movement has been a signature strategy for the conference that was born in 1979. The BIG EAST continually turns challenges into opportunities to become stronger. The conference currently crowns champions in 24 sports. The BIG EAST became a reality on May 31, 1979, following a meeting of athletic directors from Providence College, St. John’s, Georgetown and Syracuse universities. Seton Hall, Connecticut and Boston College completed the original seven school alliance. While the membership has both increased and changed, the focus of the BIG EAST has not wavered. The conference reflects a tradition of broad based programs, led by administrators and coaches who place a constant emphasis on academic integrity. Its student athletes own significantly high graduation rates and their record of scholastic achievement notably show a balance between intercollegiate athletics and academics. Any successful organization has had the good fortune to have outstanding leadership. The BIG EAST primarily was the brainchild of Dave Gavitt, who was the conference’s first Commissioner. Michael Tranghese, the league’s first full-time employee, and for 11 years the associate to Gavitt, became Commissioner in 1990. In his first year, he administered the formation of The BIG EAST Football Conference. John Marinatto, who had served as senior associate commissioner, moved into the Commissioner’s chair in 2009 and has continued to steer the conference on its path of success. The league has long been considered a leader in innovative concepts in promotion and publicity, particularly regarding television. Those efforts have resulted in unparalleled visibility for BIG EAST student athletes. The conference has enjoyed longstanding relationships with CBS, ESPN, Inc. and ABC. BIG EAST men’s basketball games are regular sellouts at campus and major public arenas, including the annual men’s BIG EAST Championship in Madison Square Garden. The women’s basketball championship has led all conferences in attendance for the past eight years. Attendance figures also are significant in soccer and baseball. The BIG EAST has its headquarters in Providence where the conference administers to more than 5,500 student-athletes.
