BIS Services provide high calibre, quality rehabilitation assistants who work collaboratively to increase function and develop independence.

Our award winning team are raising the standards in cognitive rehabilitation provision throughout the UK, enabling clients to reach their own goals and develop their skills.

We are committed to providing a person centered quality service to individuals living with cognitive deficits acquired through brain injury and neurological illness, with an innovative and practical approach to cognitive rehabilitation. Our interventions enable reintegration into the community, work or vocational environment and promote independence in activities of daily living. Specialised cognitive rehabilitation assistants provide education and compensatory strategies for clients and their families, allowing for immediate feedback and metacognitive skill building, in a variety of settings. Our high level training to all RAs ensures that clients and teams are assured of a highly specialised service, with exceptional feedback and report writing skill. Goal setting and attainment is key to our input and is a collaborative process with the client, their families and treating therapists. We work closely with case managers, solicitors, and therapists to ensure dovetailing and a coordinated approach to client rehabilitation and support programmes.

Building on our expertise in delivering packages for independent living trials, BIS Services have developed The Link. This pioneering project is designed to bridge the gap between acute medical settings and return home, allowing for a 12 week period of independent living assessment, providing detailed feedback of support need for future support requirements. ■
