Since my time as a student at Sewickley Academy, I’ve been ceaselessly impressed by the generosity of our donors who do so much to allow the Academy to thrive.”
Dear Sewickley Academy Community,
This is an exciting time to be a part of SA. Always committed to academic excellence, we don’t stop with our students’ academic development. We also focus on the growth of their character – leading by example and celebrating integrity, responsibility, respect, empathy, and kindness. Our alumni, faculty, and staff continuously demonstrate tremendous grace and dedication, never wavering from our student-centered focus and Panther pride. It is an honor to represent my alma mater as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Since my time as a student at Sewickley Academy, I’ve been ceaselessly impressed by the generosity of our donors who do so much to allow the Academy to thrive. SA is able to grow year after year, expanding programming across academics, athletics, and the arts, as well as bringing in talented faculty for new initiatives who add to our premier group of teachers. We have also increased our scholarship offerings, thereby allowing greater access to new students who have the talent and ability to succeed at SA. Whether through independent gifts, contributions to the Annual Fund, attendance at special events, and so on, our constituents have been helping us to break records in financial growth while contributing to the tight-knit, family feel that makes our community so special. I sincerely thank all of our donors for their support, and I invite you, new and returning donors alike, to join me in sponsoring SA for continued success in 2022-23.
Sincerely,
Kate (Poppenberg ’82) Pigman Chair, Board of Trustees
