I looked at the vintage jackets and their details to draw from them when I am doing the design developments.
I researched about the history of the jeans
And also I searched about the brands and learn about the way they make a jean and how they wash
I did a mind map before I do my research so I can cover all the details
Research about the current runaways and the brands
Looked at 1950 style and select the subculture Rockabilly as my inspiration.
When I looked deeper I felt James Deans style matches for my inspiration so I used him as my muse.
I researched about the brand Calvin Klein. I feel like the brand looks interesting because it looks simple and in the same time their unique look give them a nice and cool look so I selected it to continue my project.
Components of jean I looked closer how the jeans made and the stich lines. And also I looked at the details of the jeans.
I did more detail drawings of the jackets from the photographs I took.
I did a fabric board which matches my concept.
I did fast sketches from my inspiration and James dean’s style.
I put the colors using Photoshop for my final 10 jean designs
